Have finally finished Aldous Huxley's "Island". A tedious read but full of interesting concepts and philosophies. Contrasts very nicely with "Cyberia" which i'm also reading which i got from the girl's house. Similarities about the positive use of drugs, cultural advances from altered states, thru drug use, mediation etc etc. Real thoughts are still formulating in my brain, and something interesting will come out sooner or later, especially if i can find these "smart drugs" mentioned in 'Cyberia' which are apparently easily accessible in health food shops.
