shootout Part two

The afternoon was a battle of technology once again, as the human brain, condition and soul, battled infernal machines. We got it mostly sorted but some of the causes of our plight remain a mystery for another time, another place.

Our final task was the transfer from digital to VHS, which has always been a touch fraught with danger. This was made more interesting by having to rely on the kindness of friends and rivals from other aspects of our social lives as well as former cast and crew mates, who had formed themselves into a number of rival teams. While there was no acrimony and no splits causing this, there are always creative differences, and "I can do that" attitudes to ensure that it was bound to happen, as sooner or later everyone wants to try their hand at being Spielberg. Short filmmaking, it’s the new rock and roll.

So while transferring these, our rival/friends were treated to an actual screening of our weekend’s efforts. Keep in mind many of these films never get seen again, those that make it to the finals get the largest public screening possible for these, while "the best of the rest" get small screenings, and tour about the place,

I have been convinced to turn USB sex technology into a series of essays and eventually a novel. There is a lot to discuss, ideas, memes, and stuff like, that. spread of viruses, the concept of hacking as rape. Copyrighting of genital features, shapes textures, patterns and techniques of particular individuals, illegal copying and reproduction of traits. Sale and licensed use of individuals traits.

Bugger it. Too hard to type in the dark.
Cheers
