Shootout notes

Jul 12, 2003 03:05

It’s the morning, we’re all in thoroughly silly moods, giggling at the stupidest things. Dave has decided after careful inspection of the sky outside that it is “day as”.

We’re pretty much done for film number one and have settled on a plan for film number two. People I did not know mocked me at registration for making three films a year for the last two years and making two films this year.

We managed to survive the five a.m. stupidity - which is when we typically have lost the ability to differentiate between a good funny idea, and plain stupid idea that’s not funny at all.

The boys are counting down the minutes until 0800, which is when the spa opens again. The girls have gone to sleep, and Webko has missed the train back to Sydney, so he can’t get to the cricket match that the rest of us a missing anyway by being here. Kiska and Penny brought him along. He looked as surprised to be here as I was to see him, but he did prove extremely useful, being the slavishly anal retentive he is, he proved to be a useful script supervisor.

I’m going for a shower now and maybe some breakfast before a few hours sleep and then kick off again for the next film
