Wedding Dress & Bridesmaid Dress
This weekend I went home and my mother and I went dress shopping.
The gown I had tried on with Kit.. neither women got back to me about.
So with a sad heart I went to La Crosse in search. We stopped at a consignment shop and though they had something nice for someone else, nothing for me. Very sad. I was getting upset at this point.
We went to Charlotte's Bridal of La Crosse and I told the little gal specifically what I wanted. She came up to me with gown after perfect gown. She was a LIFE saver!
The first dress I tried on took my breath away, and the second one was the perfect gown. I had a really hard time deciding which one since they were both so stunning, but it was answered for me when I asked the question: "Which one would Jeffy like?... he'd like this one.. I know it." And I purchased it.
This was my face with the dress on. Can you see my mind working?? "I cannot believe this is happening..."
Lace AND sparkles for the vintage look I wanted!
Again, I have that weird look on my face. The bottom of this dress is smothered in gorgeous fluffy lace in netting, it is SO beautiful. This is an A like gown with a sweetheart neckline. Again, going for vintage
I think this is what made me buy the gown. Look at that beautiful little train of lace. Oh geeze.. and when it's bustled, sheesh it's really gorgeous!!
I have to stress that this gown is SO MUCH PRETTIER IN PERSON!! you have no idea. All I need now is the veil, I bought a beautiful comb with pearls for my hair, and I think I have the jewelry picked out. Oh and shoes... shoes too.
Oh! i bought the bridesmaid dress too!
My poor sister put the gown on over her fuzzy jacket xD We're going with a deep chocolate brown with ivory lace. Beautiful!!! The length is so adorable and the dress with look nice on everyone :3
So that's it!! WOW I got a lot done this weekend. i'm not gonna lie, I was super excited when I had the dress on, then all of the night after. Then the next night I had a mini panic attack with a dose of buyers remorse. Now I am just excited. SUPER EXCITED for the day to get here. I want all of my dear friends to come and we can all have a great time and drink and eat and dance and hug and kiss and play and look pretty and make memories and.. YEAH!
Gosh I can't wait to hug all of you. /giddy
