Sitting through yet another extended edition of Income Tax Law (class and then review) so just a couple of things:
1) By request, I am searching out a beta for a Judging Amy fic. It's not my story - I am merely the middleman to preserve the spirit of anonymity and all that. But if you drop me a line, I will hook you up with the writer ASAP. By my understanding (which, granted, is sketchy) the story is currently at 400 words and gen and needs a buddy who can cheer it on at this point and beta when it's complete.
2) Criminal Minds is a small fandom on crack_van this month! thepouncer did the fandom overview last year and the recs are here. I would like to wax poetic on CM, but I am learning about exclusions from capital gains tax rates, so feel free to leave me a comment about a character or ship or storyline or detail and I will gush accordingly.
PS: My favorite story: The Same Place by shetiger. Look, you know I'm a sucker for the one-off characters, right? It's Hotch/John Blackwolf (from the first season episode The Tribe). It's by shetiger. It's a Yuletide story. thepouncer recced it last year, but it was really the first CM fic I ever read and I am still pestering shetiger for the sequel. *cough*
