Rec, blather, and Neil Diamond
You all know how I get about fic I beta. lilac_way has written Urban Legend fic called, Reflect, Repent, Reboot. She does a really good John Sheppard in the pattern of, "It was on the MENSA test," and "I've seen a 20 kiloton nuclear explosion...not up close." But mostly what I love is the way she plays John and Rodney off each other and how they are absolutely them and not another set of plug-and-play characters. Also, Ronon is Not Subtle. I'm just sayin'. Also, reccea and I are trying to con her into writing more, so help the cause.
Rumor has it that The Unit is good. Unfortunately, my VCR is embedded in my television and therefore I cannot tape a show while watching another show at the same time, rendering it nearly useless for all occasions except when I'm not going to be home. And The Unit coincides with House. I am aware of the ways around this, but mostly I'm just irritated with network television for not arranging its schedules for my own personal viewing convenience.
