So as you all know Sara and I just got back from Beantown. I loved it, the atmosphere in that city is electric. Every where you go there is a historic feel to it, and such a good vibe. My trip to Fenway far exceeded what I thought it was going to be. They have an entire street blocked off for vendors, people socializing, and Red Sox fans in general. One thing I really enjoyed about Boston was that it's a fairly small city. It's only 600,000 people in total.
We just missed seeing a no-hitter thrown as well. To non-baseball fans that means that a pitcher pitches a complete game and doesn't give up one hit.
As for music. Two concerts that you should see if your in the TO area over the next little while. My Morning Jacket plays on June 16th at the Kool Haus. They are a fantastic live band and have a new album coming out in June as well. Also Stephen Malkmus and the Jicks play in July. He used to be the lead singer of Pavement. They are an amazing jam band, and have added the talented drummer from Sleater Kinney. Download the Stephen Malkmus album Real Emotional Trash and see if you dig it.
Planning to do some golfing this weekend. Should be great, I just bought a new set of irons and am hoping that they improve my game, highly unlikely, but maybe they will improve my drinking.
