Seattle Rocks!
Today I said to myself, "I will get a job today." Well, so far so good. This guy at Top Pot Donuts needs someone to help package and send on deliveries. Excellent. I may be part time or FT, just have to wait until Monday to find out. $10 an hour, hell yes.
We then seemed to have gotten her a job a the Armani make-up counter in Nordstrom. Both places are on 5th avenue, deep downtown amongst the giant bulidings that make p the sky line of Seattle that you see in post cards. I feel so cool.
We figured out the bus system and downtown today, found the Bell Town District and the Pike PLace Market. We were too late for the fish throwing, but we did find the first ever Starbucks. It was overrun with Japanese tourists.
So, my potential, almost garenteed job is a bus ride away, I have two audition teaching sessions lined up and groceries are damned expensive.
We are off to the Wild Rose to celebrate!
