JOB!!!
I just got a call from the temp agency- I got the job I interviewed for on Monday!!! YAY!!!
This one's a direct hire, so I'm an actual employee of the company right from the start which means I don't have to worry about them deciding they don't want me after 2 days. Yay! Decent hourly wage ($9- way better than retail), great benefits (new glasses! Fixed teeth!) regular M-F shift, so weekends & evenings are free for other activities. Only downside is that the shift starts at 7 am- ugh. I know, I know- some of you guys get up at 5 am & have to be to work at 6 am, but I am seriously *not* a morning person- even before my sleep issues became so insane. *AND* it's been a really long time since I had to be anywhere that early period, let alone on a regular basis. So, we'll see how that goes. I'm guessing my coffee intake will be increasing significantly. Good thing the coffee maker's got a timer on it. :-)
