I say that I couldn't tell you, I've lost mine...

Odd week. Strange week. The kind I just don't know how to sum up, or even try to begin to explain.
Mild bit of insomnia right now, I was able to get three hours this afternoon but I've essentially been up since 2-3 a.m. Friday. But I can tell my body is crashing, I can feel it in my back and neck. So that's a good thing, so to speak.

I finally caught up on email which I haven't checked in nearly two weeks. Nearly doing ok on the social media front, but aside from keeping up with a few people I'm not too concerned anymore. My old sous chef from Madison did finally marry his girl today, so that was good. On the other hand, I also had a death in the family the last week. Didn't help matters that it was also due to Parkinson's, which, while he wasn't a blood relative, made me conscious of the disease once again. It also apparently was an aggressive form of PD, in that (I believe) he was only diagnosed maybe two years ago.

I got a very nice email from my aunt in regards to how the past week was and his passing. What stuck out was how he mentioned having conversations with my grandfather over the past eighteen months, despite how my grandfather died in 2002 from PD as well. My aunt didn't want me to scoff at this kind of revelation, and I don't blame her for saying that to me, but I have a partial belief in extranormal instances and such. Deja vu happens.
Deja vu happens.
