Pic Dump and A Question

May 30, 2011 21:47

I really want to do something with my hair. It's too long. It gets tangled really easily, and now that the weather is warming up, it just makes my head really warm. I'm not afraid of going short, though I think I'd like to keep it a length where I can still do fun things with it or put it up in a ponytail if I need to.

Any ideas?

Okay, so you can't really see it in this picture like I thought, but it's down to my boobs at least. And yeah, I know I need to cut my bangs!

Bonus! Pictures of my plants

I bought these chalkboard plant stakes and I love them already.

I bought this at the dollar store. It told me that I could grow it in a bag, and I didn't believe it, but I've got sprouties!!

Golden Queen Tomatoes

Parsley, sans name stake (though I have since put one in).

And since these photos were taken, I've also got hot pepper sprouts and grape tomato sprouts! And my basil and dill are now too big for the aerogarden, so I'll be transplanting them tomorrow.

I totally did a DITL thing, but my camera died half way through the day and then LJ crapped out when I tried to upload the pics, so I just gave up. Here are some highlights.

Found Reilly asleep on a dirty blanket that couldn't fit in our tiny laundry hamper when I woke up.

Mako didn't want to say good morning to me.

Mojitos on the deck on a hot, sunny day.

This was a clusterfuck of a picture. My camera had died, and I was using Christina's phone. I was trying to figure out how to take the picture, and she was reaching for the phone to show me, when I figured it out and took the picture. That's Wash (the cream tabby) and Zoe (the fluffy one) in the background, and Christina's thumb. Wash and Zoe aren't having sex, they were juse really excited by something outside and Wash was having a hard time staying up on the window ledge.

A better picture of Wash. He has the craziest looking eyes.

Zoe, who wouldn't keep her eyes open for the photo.

Reilly, eating my leftover watermelon.

Our strawberry spinach salads and curried chick pea sweet potato burgers on homemade burger buns.

The Double Rainbow cross-stitch. Christina loved it, and put it on her mantleplace (next to cat treats, apparently. haha)

Tomorrow is the start of my "Weekend". I've got a bunch of things to do, so Wednesday will have to be my day to relax.

I have two pen pal letters to respond to, dishes to clean and laundry to do. I want to pack up some of the clothes I never wear, the books I don't like (or don't read or have doubles of) and donate them so I have more room to get nice new things. I'm going to transplant the basil and the dill, as well. And then at 7pm, I pick up Sarah so we can go see Hail at the LSPU Hall. I'm hoping to meet Bob Joy and get his autograph! :)
