My boyfriend complained that I don't blog about him enough. I was browsing my friends list when he noticed my tag cloud and saw that "adorable boyfriend" wasn't used enough. I tried to explain that the tag was "adorable boyfriend gifts" and it's not used a lot because he hasn't given me a gift in a while. He tried to argue that kisses and cuddles are gifts, but I stood firm.

Now he's demanding an adorable boyfriend tag. He's going out of his way to try to do cute things he thinks I could blog about. Right now he's putting together our new barbeque. Nothing fancy. Just a charcoal tabletop grill because we don't have a whole lot of space to work with. He's talking about how much he loves putting together the barbeque and he wishes that it could be his full time job. I told him he needed to get more efficient at it to be paid for it. He's been working at it for an hour at least!

I really just want to get started at supper. We're going to have grilled chicken with a tequila lime habanero bbq sauce, grilled pineapple salsa, grilled veggies and a spinach salad. I might have corn on the cob. Oh man. I'm starving just thinking about it! It's beautiful out, and is supposed to be beautiful for the rest of the week, so I'm excited to be able to grill again. :D

Tomorrow I have a hot date with one of my best friends, Christina. I haven't seen her pretty much for a month because she's been working this shitty job that makes her work EVERY DAY. She seriously hadn't had a day off in over two weeks, except she just quit, and now is free to spend time with me! :) She's the friend I always cook for, and now that she's starting to feel confident in her own cooking abilities (something I like to think I helped with), we've decided to have a cooking date. We looked through the zillion and a half recipes I've bookmarked and decided on Curried Sweet Potato Chickpea Burgers with Spinach and Radish Sprout Salad with Strawberries and Feta in a Mint Vinaigrette. This is perfect because my radish sprouts are getting big enough now that I need to thin them out. I don't want them to go to waste, so we'll eat them! We'll wash everything down with some mojitos, and maybe some icecream or fruit or something for dessert.

That's about all I have going on in my life right now. Today is my Saturday. I work Thursday-Monday now, so Tuesday and Wednesday are my weekend. After supper I'm going to watch the season finale of House, and write some pen pal letters. I have three to respond to. I also have to get Christina's house warming present (the double rainbow cross-stitch) in the frame so I can bring it with me tomorrow.

And that's it. That's my life. Work, eat, sleep, craft, rinse and repeat. I feel very dull and responsible and adult. A friend of mine from work and I have been talking about high school and doing fun childish things, so I think I'm going to see if she's up for going out for drinks or something on a day we both have off. It'd be nice to dress up and go downtown and be stupid for a while. It's something I very rarely do. In fact, I honestly can't remember the last time I went downtown for anything besides work.

I have to remember to take pictures of my new plants before I thin out the radish sprouts. I kind of want to do a photo day in my life kind of thing, but I'm not sure my camera is of good enough quality. Though, if I were doing it, tomorrow would be the day, since I'm actually going to be doing something besides working and sleeping. We'll see. :)
