I got a rose!
Well, yeah, that's it. I got a rose as a present.
To understand this completely, we have to go back in time about 3 and a half years back. On my sixteenth birthday, my cousin gave me a rose with the words: "You are now at an age, where boys will start to give you flowers."
Which was wrong in three ways:
1. I was not at the age.
2. It wasn't boys that maybe, possibly, would give me flowers.
and 3. I didn't get any flowers.
Until this week!
On wednesday I was at a special kind of circus event, one where there's a lot more skin shown than usually and I was so so so so surprised, that this would happen in switzerland of all places, because it's... well, switzerland.
However, when the show ended I was given a rose, because I was sitting front row.
And that's the first time I've been given a rose since that 16th birthday.
So... No, dear cousin, you were wrong. It was in fact a woman who gave me the rose and it was almost three years after your guess. Also, I don't think, she'd have given me the flower on her own account, so....
