…to live with a woman for 8 years and finally say that: “I am not ready for marriage”
…to promise a woman to marry, to have children together and, as soon as she is pregnant, - to sneak with another woman, because “she is my first and only true love”
… to be married for a woman for a decade, to decide to have children, and not to be able to wait until woman recovers from very hard post natal period and leave her for another woman
All these shocking news are coming to me recently from different people - my colleagues, my friends, my relatives. Sincerely, I am lost and confused. My mind could not bear the thought that it is possible to live with a human (irrespectively, woman or man) and have absolutely no respect and care about he or she. Also what is most frustrating - no need and care about children.
Certainly, women also could be blamed for many stupid things - first of all for allowing men to treat them not as a precious friend, but as a replaceable device like IPhone. But what I know from the stories described above that all these women are really very family-oriented, ready to contribute and invest into husband and children, to work (or not to work), etc., etc.
Recently I have read a very interesting interview with an orthodox priest. The essence of his words could be summarized as follows: “I am not a defendant of women’s rights, but I should state that at the moment there are plenty of women worth marriage and family”.
Under Vedas man is a protector of women and children, liable for bringing light to the world.
