In the process of my mac being all wonky and jealous that I am able to organize such a busy life, it ate about 110 emails today that I will never recover. So that's a shame. If you've emailed me, really, in the last 12 hours, I've no record of it. Such a pain!

At last, after three weeks of struggle, I had my trusty 17-inch MacBook Pro in my paws. The video problems had been eliminated by... well, nuking the thing. Apple decided that replacing the screen, logic board, AND hard drive seemed the most prudent thing to do.
