Finally an update about you. Well.. best wishes with the new lady. Sorry to hear about your break down of fustration. I wish you there very best, although wishes are a dime a dozen. I miss talking to you. Maybe some other time.. good to hear about you... bye
I just have to say that You're doing way better than you could be, and that's a great thing. Yes, your job sucks, but hey! You have one!! And you're going to school, which sucks now, but you are going, you will have a good job, and you DO know where you are going, which is better than what I can say for myself. I miss you Daric, and as soon as I have the money for some gas, I'm going to pick you up and we're going to have lunch. And I mean it. And you know I always keep my promises, even if I can't fulfill them for months.
I'm glad you had a flip out. Everyone needs some rage sometimes.
I hear Chris is getting married. It may have been an unreliable source.
indignation, anger, revulsion? yes, even temporary weariness. all this is human, only too human. but i will not believe that you have succumbed to pessimism. this would be like passively and plaintively taking umbrage at history. how can one do that? 'history has to be taken as it is'; and when she allows herself such extraordinary and filthy outrages, one must fight her back with one's fists.
JOB, ahh .. That phrase was the one thing I really took with me from Cutco. I suppose that job was the dawning of the realization that hourly pay is awful; they managed to disillusion me with the entire notion of working anywhere but there in my first week of training. Too bad I - like you - opened my eyes and realized there wasn't any sort of real foundation like we'd hoped, and was left with a JOB and not a .. well, you know.
We've all had to grow and develop since living together, and tolerating each others faults are what makes us and keeps us strong and united. None of us are Christ but circumstances force the Son of God to come out in all of us.
