Well, I already wrote a lot of this story, so i can update on it really soon and stuff. so, here's chapter 2, lol
---------------------------------------------------------
~Hyunseung's P.O.V.~
"ohmigosh, I feel soooo bad for you." I blinked and edged farther away from the blond girl keeping a tight grip on my arm.
"And...why would you feel bad for me?" i asked, confused.
She looked at me as if I was the dumbest yet hottest creature on earth. "You have to sit next to the Yong Junhyung."
I felt my body tense up. "Why's that bad?"
Her eyes lit up like girl's eyes always do when there's gossip to be had. "You see-"
She was cut off by a punch from another blond, a boy. Holding her now sore head, she turned and complained. "Ow, Yoseob! What was that fore?"
The boy named Yoseob rolled his eyes. "Everything." he stated. "Now shoo." Pushing the girl away, Yoseob took a seat next to me. "Hey, sorry for my sister, Jessica. She's really noisy sometimes."
"Uh.. no problem." I responded. We were at lunch, sitting in the cafeteria. I was by myself when Jessica had popped up and started chattering away. Now there were more people at my table. As they all introduced themselves to me, I craned my neck to see the Junhyung kid sitting in a corner, not eating. I abruptly stood up and was about to walk torwards him when I felt something large and warm tackle me from behind.
"HYUNG~~~"
"Oof, Dongwoon, get off of me!" I complained, striving to pull the Western looking boy's arms off of me.
He gasped, as if he had suddenly reacher an epiphany. "I see!" he exclaimed in excitement. Reaching into his pocket, he took out a mini notebook and pen, starting to scribble furiously in it. "Get...off...me..." he muttered in concentration, focusing on putting all my words to him into the notebook.
I sighed. "Dongwoon, I told you to stop taking notes on me like a stalker."
He looked up at me innocently, making large puppy eyes that were impossible to resist. "But, hyung," he said, looking crestfallen. "I love you... and you're the most amazing person on this Earth..." I swear I could practically see the puppy dog ears falling on his head and his non-existent tail drooping.
No, Hyunseung, you need to fight! I told myself. Don't fall for his cuteness! Taking another look at him, I felt my throat constrict. Giving up, I held up my hands in surrender. ""Fine, go ahead..." I muttered.
Immedietly, his eyes brightened and he bounced around like a five year old told he had permission to buy all the toys in the world. "YAY!!!!" he screamed. Turning around, he yelled at the entire cafeteria. "MY HYUNG LOVES ME MORE THAT YOU!" he crowed in triumph while I turned red.
Yoseob just laughed. "You have a funny friend." he told me. I grimaced. That was debatable. "Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Yang Yoseob,"
I accepted the hand outstretched to me and shook it. "Jang Hyunseung." After finally managing to convince Dongwoon i needed space and having him return to wherever-the-hell-he-came-from-before, I sat down and asked Yoseob. "So, what's with the big deal of me sitting next ot Junhyung?"
Yoseob frowned. i got the feeling it wasn't a subject he was fond of. "Well, there's nothing concrete, but there are a lot of rumors about him..."
I leaned forwards. "Like what?"
"Well, for one thing, he's always depressed. Like, he doesn't have ANY friends and is always keeping himself locked up and doesn't talk to anyone. But his grades are really good even though it looks as it he doesn't pay attention in class. All in all, he's a social outcast, but the weird thing is, he doesn't seem to mind. People don't bully him, because they tried once, and it was really creepy. They told me that he seemed to like it."
I was thoroughly intrigued by now. "So, was he always like this?"
Yoseob shook his head. "No, he used to be one of the most outgoing and fun people in the school, always laughing and having a good time. But all of a sudden, like... a year ago? He became like this. no one knows what happened to change him so drastically."
I bit my lip. This was getting more and more interesting. Being the kind-hearted saint that I am, I stood up and grabbed Yoseob's hand, dragging him with me down the aisle. "h-hey, were are you taking me?" he stuttered.
I grinned at him. "We're gonna go say hi."
~Junhyung's P.O.V.~
I was sitting at the edge of the room, staring blankly ahead of me. I was wondering whether or not I should eat today. I decided that I wasn't in the mood and instead just sat there, trying to ignore the sound of chatter around me. It was working. Soon, I found myself in my own private world. The cafeteria was empty and i was sitting there all alone. Looking around me and finding no one, I sank back into my seat, closing my eyes. As soon as I did so, memories flashed before the closed lids.
"I hate you!"
"I don't want to see your faces again! Just leave me alone!"
"It's dark... where are you?"
Gasping, I sat up, clutching my chest. Trying to catch my breath, I didn't notice the two boys in front of me until one of them spoke up. "Uh... I didn't think that a simple 'hello' would scare you that much.."
Looking up, i saw the new student and a cute blond one I had noticed before in my class. The new student was grinning broadly and offereing his hand for a shake. I looked at it warily and automatically sat on my hands. He frowned and lowered his hand. The one standing next to him muttered, "See, I told you..." as if I didn't have ears and couldn't hear.
The boy ignored his friend and sat next to me. I scooted over, trying to put as much distance between us as possible when he gestured to his friend. He sighed and took a seat on my other side so I was sandwiched between the two. He smiled impishly at me. "Hi, I'm Jang Hyunseung, the new transfer."
I already knew that.
"And over there," Hyunseung continued, pointing at the blond on my left, "is Yang Yoseob. He's my friend."
Good for you two.
"So, would you like to be friends with me?"
That statement froze my entire body. i could feel my nerves freeze and could hear the blood rushing my my head. The dull thump thump of my heart reminded me that I was still alive....
Slam.
I hadn't even noticed I had stood up until i heard the noise my hands made as the slammed down on the lunch table. i was sweating, and my heartbeat still sounded loudly in my ears. "No." I said loudly, trying to speak over the sound of my cursed breath, the one that reminded of the life still in me. "No." I said again. Feeling myself begin to hyperventilate, i ran out of the room and outside to the school campus.
I found a tree and was about to slam my fist into it when I flinched, my knuckles about an inch away from the tree bark. "Fuck." I swore before sitting down, grasping my hair. "AHHHH!!!!" I screamed. I wanted to hurt myself, I wanted to cause myself pain so badly, but I couldn't. i was a coward. I couldn't. Holding up my trembling hands, I stared at them until my sight became blurry. As a drop of water fell into the palm of one, i clenched my hands tightly. fuck. I didn't even want to be in this world. But I was too attached to life to let go of it. I should be dead, but I was too chicken to kill myself. I wanted to die. I wanted to die so badly. Why couldn't I? Why wouldn't life let me die? Why wouldn't I let myself die?
"Are you okay?"
I peeked up and saw Hyunseung standing over me, a concerned look on his face. Looking at my sleeves, I realized I was sobbing. Quickly wiping my eyes, I stood up. "Yeah." i stated while averting my eyes from looking at him. "I'll go now." And i ran off.
~Hyunseung's P.O.V.~
I was staring at the spot he was just sitting at when Yoseob ran up to me. "Are...you....out of...you mind?!" he demanded angrily, bending over, trying to catch his breath. "Why...did you... run so fast?"
I was blanked out, it was only when Yoseob waved his hand in front of eyes that I responded. "Earth to Hyunseung!" he called.
Blinking in confusion, I pulled myself roughly out of my own thoughts. "Huh? Oh."
"What were you thinking about?" Yoseob asked curiously.
"Nothing...." I trailed off. Yong Junhyung. I needed to know about him. To do that I would have to drag him out of the deep abyss of despair it seemed that he fallen into. To stop him from walking into oblivion.
