california trip - day 1
I’m now in California!!! Heehee. The plane ride was a bit tiring (we didn’t have a direct flight and our connecting flight is from the Chicago O’Hare International Airport) and was a “near-death experience.” Hehe, it was because we didn’t know that the flight from Chicago to San Jose wouldn’t serve us any free food/lunch (we had a bag of pretzels and a pop, wohoo) so we didn’t bother buying any food while we were waiting to board on the connecting flight (and were in the airport for 2 hours). We were surprised when we found out that we have to pay $5 for a snack box. The flight was almost 4 hours long and it was already almost 5pm EST when we boarded the plane and we’ll be arriving San Jose at around 9pm EST. So yeah, we were starving. We were about to buy a snack box and just share it when we saw that they were giving away pretzels. We just settled for the free pretzels. Heehee, sorry we’re cheap. :p
Anyway, it was alright because when we got there, we just dropped off our luggage at my uncle’s house and went to Jollibee!! Yuuuuummmm. Hehe. Tomorrow, we’ll be going to San Francisco. Exciting! Hehe. Well, my body is still on EST and I only got 3 hours of sleep last night so I’m dead tired. So I shall retire.
Oh, and I want my HP7 book now. Accio HP7 book! Heh.
