It’s been too long. And note that I’ve been trying to write this entry since Tuesday. Yeah, I’m that bad.
Some Updates:
Last week was my birthday (the 8th) and I have yet to go out with my other friends to celebrate it. But I did go out for dinner with Linda, Abby and Camille, which is really enough for me but I guess I have to do something else where everyone can go. That dinner was very last minute that’s why I didn’t get to invite more people. I already celebrated it with my family last Sunday so that’s already covered. I’m thinking dinner at the Japanese restaurant near our house then just drinks after? I’m not sure if that would work though but whatever. We’ll see.
We’ve moved to our new house but it’s still a mess. Well, it actually looks better since we had to clean up a bit because we had visitors last Sunday. I love my new bed! And my room (which I share with my sister). I have yet to use our bath tub but I’m definitely looking forward to it. :)
I also started in my new job this week. I’m still learning but I think I’ve gotten the hang of doing my tasks. It’s boring work but I don’t mind it. Yet. Hehe. My supervisor is nice and our manager is pretty cool. I’ve been the subject of the intern jokes but that’s okay. All of the people in the department were welcoming. Seems like a fun bunch.
And on topic: the best SE reunion ever! Yesterday was a lot of fun. SE#10 had their second reunion in St. Catharines, ON. Going to St. Catharines was a bit of an adventure. Well, just going to Mississauga was an adventure, thanks to Alvin. Haha. Anyway, we got there, did the whole reunion thing (haha, you know I didn’t go there just for the reunion) then it was time to go Niagara Falls! Us girls (plus Dale) wanted to go to Lundy’s Lane to shop but by the time we left St. Catharines, it’s already closed so we just went straight to Fallsview Casino. But we didn’t really gamble until later just so we get free parking. Anyway, our group split to two because we can’t decide where to eat. Our group went to the restaurant by the falls, Table House Rock. The food was expensive! So most of us just ordered soup and appetizers. Heehee. Oh and yeah, the guy who got our drinks looked so much like the server we had at Moxie’s Fairview mall who bitched about his tip (and we were sure he’s mistaken and just too stupid to count, hehe). Yeah, that was weird. Then after dinner, we waited for the other group just outside the restaurant and then walked to the Clifton Hill. We hung out at Boston Pizza where the drinks started flowing. Heehee. :) I thought we’d be on our way home at midnight or a little bit after but no. We were there until after 3am and we still had a 2-hour drive ahead of us. Aahhh yes, good times. :)
And just something random from You’ve Got Mail, which I caught earlier on TMN:
No, there’s no someone else. But there’s a dream of someone else.
As much fun as this weekend has been, I’m actually looking forward to working tomorrow (!shocker!) just so I stop obsessing about... stuff. Hehe. :)
ETA: I am a fan of Heroes but
the news that KB will joining the cast just made me want to watch the show even more. That brought a whole lot of sunshine to my depressing Fall 2007 TV lineup. ;)
