Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby Event
Today I got to participate in Cisco's Healthy Parent, Healthy Baby Event. It was pretty cool. Childrens' Creative Learning Center had a booth set up and I was one of the two teachers that were chosen to participate. I was really excited and honored. It was a nice change of pace. They had speakers from all over, doctors from Kaiser, someone showing you how to put a car seat in correctly, a man speaking about baby sign language, etc. They had about 10 different booths. We got to talk to lots of different people and a learned a lot. It was neat to meet different people at cisco. They have a really nice job that allows them to come to these events all day during work hours... and we got to eat in the caf for free. Overall it was a good experience and I had fun.
