I had some friends over from work the 21st to hang out. Good times. They're all crazy but fun. I got proposed to again by Trevor and tickled to death. There was a little drama between Rachel and Brandy, but all that got taken care of later. Abby came too, so we had a puppy running around. She's so cute though that no one cared.
Went to St. John's the 22nd for Jamie's 21st birthday. We ate at some Irish Pub restaurant in Lansing then headed back to Jamie's farm for a bonfire. It was fun. I met all of my new roommates for next year. Let's just say that it's going to be a very interesting fall semester! I'm excited though! I kinda feel bad for Zo though because he's going to be the only guy in a house of 5 women. Two of the girls do have boyfriends though, but still that's alot of estrogen for one guy to handle 24/7.
The 23rd was the Fraser fireworks. They weren't as good this year. There were a ton of people there though. Moreso than any other year. A group of us headed over to Coney's as tradition...me, Katie, Jenni, Rita, Adam, Lindsay, and this guy that Lindsay's sorta dating, Erik. Mmmm...hani's and cheese fries. I watched a movie with Colleen the next night, then went mini golfing with Katie, Laura, and Jenni. It was fun.
The 29th, Chelsea was having a bonfire with a whole bunch of co-workers to signify her becoming a manager and Ben leaving McDonald's. Candace and I met Heather, Chelsea, Rachel, and Trevor then followed Chelsea to her house all the way in farm country. Kevin was already setting off fireworks when we got there. Let's just say that was a very drama filled night and we didn't leave until 4:00. All I have to say is that I really do feel like a mom sometimes.
I've pretty much been working and hanging around since then. This 100 degree weather really sucks balls because it's too hot to do anything, and the air in work doesn't really help when you're running around trying to fill orders. Yesterday was my day off and I slept in until 2:30 because I was so exhusted from the past few days. I got up and chatted with Candace then set to packing. I packed up almost everything except for the few things that I would need in the next couple of days. I hope it all fits in my car...guess I'll find out Friday. LOL. The next two days I get to train this guy, Eddie, in grill. I don't even know grill, so I don't know how I'm supposed to teach him. Jeremy is on vacation and left Lonnie a note saying that this will be interesting for me and to ask my grill team for help. Well the bonus is that I'll get to finally learn grill myself.
I'll be home the 5th until the 17th. This'll be fun. I can already see the fights that will happen in the house during that time. I'll be back up here in no time though with my 414 girls and guy!
