So sue me because I'm a slacker...
Let's see what's been going on with me...quite a bit actually. I think this requires a list format.
1. Went home for Colleen's birthday the 27th-30th. Went with Lindsay and Colleen to Caribou's in Romeo to meet Lauren for some coffee and girl talk. That was fun. We went to Kohl's and I found the cutest black heels ever for $12! The 28th I was shopping all day looking for a cute black dress for that night to match my shoes. After like six stores, I finally found one! Now I have a cute black dress...yay! I also bought the new Dashboard CD...such a good CD! But then again it is Chris Carrabba ::sigh:: Lindsay, Colleen, Shelly, Katie, Laura, and myself went to the Melting Pot in Troy to celebrate Colleen's bday. Mmmm....chocolate peanut butter fondue. We had fun there and our waiter was funny. We went to JD's Piano Bar after that. It was college night, so there were tons of people there. We met some cool guys that we talked with. Lindsay went out with the one (yay!). The 29th I went over to Katie's and hung out with her and Rita. We had a bonfire and roasted some marshmallows and caught up. It was fun. I definitely miss my friends!
2. I left a little early on the 30th because I was supposed to go tubing with some coworkers but never got called. Well it was 4th of July weekend, so everyone was heading north. Traffic wasn't bad until right before the Pleazy exit. I was stuck 20 minutes not moving when my car made a funny noise, dimmed the lights, and the brake locked up. Then it procedded not to start and go figure traffic started moving. These guys pushed me to the side of the road and went on their way. Turns out that the problem was the alternator and it drained the battery. I got towed and didn't get my car back until the 3rd. I felt bad cuz Candace had to drive me and pick me up to work. I appreciate it though. Muchos gracias!!!!!!
3. Rachel, Trevor, and Brandy came over and hung out that same week. We watched Grandma's Boy (hilarious movie...yay for Nick Swardson...Nicholas...you're so strong...you're the strongest boy in the world lol). Then we sat outside and looked at the stars and talked and watched Rachel try to catch bull frogs.
4. Candace's lil bro, Robert came up for a few days. We played board games and tennis (I kicked butt!). It was fun.
5. I went and splurged a little on myself because I haven't bought anything in a while. I bought my NO COMPROMISE Andy Roddick bracelets!!!!! I also bought Colleen's bday gift, the Evans Blue CD, and the Hinder CD. Both are awesome!
6. My mom and aunt came up the 7th and took me to the casino. I found my new favorite slot machine because I won $100.66 on it. My aunt won over $100, and my mom won over $500. My mom treated us to the casino buffet cuz that's how we roll. LOL.
7. I have work drama going on. I have yet another high school student liking me, but this one is really persistent. He will not give up asking me to hang out even though I already said yes thinking that it was just as friends. Now I'm stuck because I said I'd go to the movies to see Superman with him Friday, but I'd much rather see Lady in the Water or Clerks II. I'm just going to have to suck it up and call him and tell him that I had other plans and then to clear up that we're JUST FRIENDS. Seriously it seems like I'm the only one with this high school drama...it's definitely a sign that I'm going into the wrong profession. LOL.
8. Saw Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest!! It was awesome!!! I like the bad guys alot more from the first one because skeletons are cooler than sea creature people. But this plot had a lot more action and such. The ending really pissed me off, but I can't wait for the third!!! Johnny and Orly were looking mighty good in this one too.
9. I started working on my book again. I added another chapter to it. It's coming along nicely. I don't think I'll have it finished by the end of summer, but hopefully before I graduate. Heck, maybe I'll get it published!
10. I'm going to the John Mayer and Sheryl Crow concert with Katie September 6th. That'll be fun. I haven't been to a concert in a long time, so I'm excited.
11. Just booked a hotel and tickets for the ATP Cincinnatti tournament! I'm so excited! I hope that I get to see Andy Roddick and Andre Agassi play if they're in it! They better be in it! Yay! I get to watch professionals play! This is starting me on my way to making it to all the Grand Slams. LOL.
12. I'm excited to come home this weekend too! The fireworks are Sunday!!!!! I heart fireworks. I didn't even get to see any 4th of July. That's okay though because I get to hang out with my best buds and watch some!!!!!
