So tomorrow I leave bright and early from the University of Sussex (sigh) to catch the train into London and then to begin my European tour. I won't have internet after this for quite a while, so this may be the last time I update this thing until I go back to school for RA training back in September.
Last night we had a massive dinner with all of the left over food that we all had. Our friend Robert wanted to have his floor their, so we moved away from our kitchen and went upstairs. However, apparently Robert has a lot of THOSE people on his floor. When we were talking about our plans to visit Bamboogey that night, one girl could not comprehend why we would not follow all of the other lemmings and go to some place called Casablanca. Finally, I was just like "well, we REALLY like Bamboogey" and she was dumb and got all huffy and was like "well, I REALLY like Casablanca." Ahh, stupid people.
The conversation inspired this list in my head:
There are TWO types of people in the world:
Those who like Bamboogey, and those who don't.
Those who go their own way, and those who follow the herd.
Those who MAKE ex-lax cookies, and those who EAT ex-lax cookies.
Those who tip, and those who don't.
Those who go somewhere to experience that place, and those who go just to party.
Those who can just enjoy their surroundings, and those who have to snap pictures of it all.
Those who actually do what they say, and those who just talk about it.
Those who take pride in themselves, and those who make out with taxi drivers.
Those who aren't douche bags, and those that DEFINITELY are.
The list could keep going on, but it basically sums up my summer to say that I'm glad that I fit into the first part of those sentences and those that I hung out with did too.
So now I'm off to go finish packing and go to Brighton one last time. I'm definitely going to miss being here and enjoying the English life, but I'm also excited that soon enough I will be back to my life. If I don't talk to you all for a while, keep on having great summers!
