you held me in your arms
and I felt so content
so safe, so right, so warm
And then we kissed,
and for the first time
in a dream
I could feel everything
vividly.
I had forgotten what it was like
but I felt it again
and as awkward as it was
it was comforting.
In reality,

held myself
and kissed myself
