Matthew stayed home from school sick yesterday. He threw up the night before and again before getting in the shower. He didnt say anything to us and just slept with his vomit covered blanket. :X I asked him why and he said he didnt want to get sick in our bed. Got the boys dressed to take Michael to school and Michael says he doesnt feel well. lol Then on the way up to the door he said it's not fair that Matthew gets to stay home. lol Matthew stayed in the car. I told him we had to stop at Michael's before going home. I needed a calligraphy pen and hadnt been able to find one elsewhere. We got to the store and they were still closed so we went to Mom's instead. Matthew wasnt happy about that. He was worried about getting sick there. He fell asleep on the couch while I visited with Mom for a bit. He decided he was hungry when I woke him up to leave so I made him toast. We went to the store then home. He went straight to bed. Jacob was sleeping as well so I put him in his crib. They both slept until 12:30pm. I made lunch then Matthew asked if he could go to school. Absolutely! I took him to school then went back to Michael's to return the pen I bought because it didnt work!

I ended up using a black sharpie to finish writing names under the kids pictures on the poster for Michael's teacher. I brought that to the school with me to have laminated. It's all done now. Yay! Now that it's done I was thinking I should have had all the kids sign the back of it. Oh well. lol I'm glad it's done. I screwed up a couple of the kids names. There are two Michaels in the class. I had written both down and then wrote Michael under a third. No way to fix that! I pulled the picture off, moved it down to cover the name and wrote the correct name about it. It looks funny but I dont think anyone will pay that much attention. Then there is a Gabriella and Ella. I wrote Ella under Gabriella's picture. Oops. I pulled the pictures off and put Ella's picture there. lol

Michael presents today. He did China. We put it all together last night. I dont know why but this project just snuck up on me. I guess I just wasnt expecting a destination project. I was expecting an ocean animal project. And then there werent any guidelines. Just pick a place, research it and present it. His has too much information to be age appropriate so it's obvious that I did most of the work. Oh well. They dont get graded on it so oit's not a big deal. He did sit down and help with the research and he started to type it up but that would have taken ALL NIGHT LONG so I typed it. He glued the pieces down then I typed up some notes for him to read about each section. I'm excited to see him present. Teresa might come too.

She went to look at a house last night but the key was gone out of the lock box so she couldnt get in.

Jacob's driving me crazy. He wants to go for a bike ride so he goes to the back room and tries to climb into his seat on my bike. I'm never going to get the living room clean!

I was pretty irritated with Pauline yesterday. Each time I talked to her she was complaining she should have kept Belle home because she wasnt feeling well and she ended up getting 4 wrong on her spelling test. She looked fine to me. After school I told her to quit complaining. Last week Matthew got 12 out of 13 WRONG. She says she doesnt let Belle get away with things like that like I let Matthew. Excuse me?! What exactly and I letting him "get away" with? He chose not to study and got them all wrong. He knows I was disappointed and he was disappointed in himself. He's not going to do it again and I didnt have to fight about it. I fail to see what I did wrong here and how it's MY fault. Plus I dont think spelling is THAT important. Lots of people are terrible at spelling and they get along just fine. That is what spell check is for after all right? lol It wasnt just Pauline that was crabby yesterday. Most everyone I talked to was. I hate days like that.

I'm so glad it's Thursday. I'm ready for the weekend already. I'd be really happy if it weren't so muggy out!
