30 Days of SuperWho
So recently my friend kiashyel and I discovered the SuperWho fandom. This fandom combines the show Supernatural with the BBC show Doctor Who. As we are both a fan of these fandoms, we adored the combination of the two. Today she found the 30 Days of SuperWho. I've decided to participate...even though i leave for camp in less than 30 Days which means some days will be doubled and there's a fairly decent possibility I'll miss a couple of days b/c I'm going to see Michal Buble and getting my wisdom teeth taken out. But I'll try not to. Anyway, to start it all off:
Day 1: Your favorite character from Doctor Who and Why?
My favorite character from Doctor Who is no doubt Donna Noble. Donna is the one woman willing to slap the Doctor and order him around. Yet at the same time she seems to be the only companion (except maybe River Song) who understands what the Doctor needs, that he needs to be stopped. She gets that he can be wrong sometimes and that others he needs a best friend to cry on. She goes from being a temp to being the most Important Woman in the Universe. Donna also loses the most. While the Doctor loses companions and others give their lives, Donna loses the memory of becoming that amazing, powerful DoctorDonna. It's stolen from her to save her life and her ending on the show is probably the most tragic, but also one of the happiest.

Day 2: Your favorite character from Supernatural and Why?
My favorite character from Supernatual is probably Dean. I waffle between him and Castiel. Dean goes through the most horrible things and he does it all for his brother. I'd like to think I'd do that for my sister, but who knows. Dean goes to hell just to keep his brother alive. He does everything in his power to protect his brother from Lucifer and finally, he does the hardest thing of all and trusts his brother to save the world. Dean deals with evil everyday and still has a beautiful spirit. He has built a family around himself. His family includes the Angel who saved him Castiel and when Dean finds out about the things Castiel has done throughout Season 6, he tries to get him to come back. Even when Sam and Bobby have given up, Dean tries to convince his friend who has become a brother to leave the path he's on. And when the Angel refuses, Dean lets him know he'll stop him, just like he tried to stop Sammie. Dean love like no one else on the show. He wholeheartedly believes and trusts in the people he loves until they betray him. And even then, he always hopes they'll come back. And when Sam comes back from opening hell, Dean forgives him...not immediately or easily, but he does. He will do the same for Castiel if/when he decides to return to the Winchester fold.
