I scared the shit out of this old couple in front of me when I "WOOOO'D"

Went to my FIRST concert at Riverbend since... I was 5.

I work everything. Mainly because everything is so expensive and we don't get free tickets*. Tonight JOHN muthafuckin WILLIAMS came to town. He-llooo! Musical God by the Academy's standards (and mine). His concert line-up was far from impressive, at first. I didn't expect him to talk (not really sure WHY) but he did and he was really funny. Watching him and the symphony reminded me so much of high school band. Yeah, yeah make fun if you must, but my band was unbelievable. Most bands are mediocre, we were GREAT. Played the 1812 overture when I was 16 and we got a standing ovation for multiple minutes. Whatever, ANYWAY, it just kind of made me sad. High school was great for me, I loved my teachers. Mentally, I was depressed as hell, but I still look back on those 4 years as an utter joy to be alive. Odd.

*We do get free tickets, to symphony shows. AREN'T I LUCKY?! Me and my dad sat about 20 rows back for FREE. While I would have normally paid 110 dollars. JOHN WILLIAMS, PEOPLE! SCORRRE.

Star Wars and Harry Potter were fabulous. Schindler's List was AMAZING. Whoever our lead violinist is, should be out recording with a good symphony... she played it flawlessly. So, not only did he talk but he did an encore. 4 of them. Yeah, FOUR SONGS. Most artists do two, three at the max which is rare. Plus, there was no mention he would and it wasn't in our program. NOT COMPLAINING! It was really cute how everyone said "YODA!" when Yoda's theme started playing.... holy shit I am a NERD. (But a pretty one, like Liz Lemon.)

OFFICIALLY GOT THE E-MAIL SAYING I'M WITH KINDERGARTEN NEXT YEAR (again!) You never know in my position, so I'm beyond glad I'm with the only teachers I've ever worked with and absolutely adore next year. It'll be our final year together; our school will fail the standards (I have told myself I'll donate 50 bucks to charity if they pass) and we'll be reorganized. We can all re-apply to come back, but there's no way everyone would, and Ms. H told me she'd move on to an administrative "I'm going to kick your ass because you're terrible at handling these students" position. I have two options at the moment; Mrs. Chamberlain's school or Japan. I still have reservations about Japan but I did finish part 1 of my application. Might as well do it just to see.

Oh, oh! I found this park very close to my house that is like, completely desolate from society. It's massive and has tons of trails that -get this- go into the woods. I LOVE IT. Behind my house used to be a farm, until they sold it in 2003 and destroyed it in 2004 to build big houses and tiny lots. And up until it was destroyed, I was back there a lot. Sledding was of course a neighborhood thing (we're talking a massive hill. Tallest point in our county) but most of us would explore back in the woods. We even set up a haunted hike (ah I can't type this without smiling.) It was just so beautiful and peaceful and this place is just like it, only I'm alone. No - my new deer friends are with me. Every time I've gone, I run into at least 5 different ones. Two days ago I stumbled upon two baby deer and I ran away (the deer aren't afraid of me at all) because mama deer will attack if you're too close. Thank God my knowledge of animals, especially deer, is extensive. Thanks Animal Planet!

I love my dog. She's laying next to me snoring very loudly. Today she was having some sort of breathing spasm and couldn't inhale very well. She was laying on her side when it happened, and when I called her to stand up, it went away. Then she was up in my lap snapping at the overly large pillow like nothing happened (she's 95 pounds and only throws 2/3's of herself onto me. Her back legs and tail sit on the ground so she's constantly sliding off... cute.) Gotta get off here and cuddle with Yittle Bitty.

LEMON OUT!
