My New Phone

Dec 01, 2011 08:35

So I got a new phone this week. I have been using Michelle's old flip-phone since mine randomly died in March while I waited to accumulate enough Bell credit to upgrade again. I ended up going with an Android Galaxy II, which I am quite happy with.
I was in a toss-up over the iPhone or the Android. I know the iPhone, I've used Michelle's quite a lot, and I know how to use it, what it can do, etc. On the other hand, Android is a great brand too, and the reviews I read of the Galaxy 2 were pretty promising.
So that's the one I went with. And I have to say I'm pretty happy with it. It does lots of cool stuff -- most of which I haven't figured out how to work yet. The autocorrect isn't what the iPhone autocorrect is, that's for sure, but other than that it's alright. In fact, so far, that's the only real complaint I would have, and I've heard a rumour it should be getting upgraded in the next platform update.

I'm home today. I have Thursdays booked off from the school board because I have to be back at the Bolton Library by 4:45, so there isn't really time to work and then get there. I am enjoying a little time to myself this morning, but then I have to get down to the cleaning I haven't been doing the last two days. Michelle has done a lot in the afternoons she's been off, so today my task is to tackle all the kitchen dishes. I cannot wait until we get our dishwasher in March.
