Alive and Kicking

Hey y'all:
So here's the deal. I had an awesome time in Mexico. However, as soon as our plane touched down in Canada, I was given the news that an uncle of mine finally lost his fight with cancer. So basically since I last posted I've been to Mexico, White Water Rafting on the Ottawa River, a funeral, a baptism and a wedding.

dang! what a life! that sucks about the work thing - that would be tough even without the cold. and i'm sorry about your uncle, but i'm never really sorry when anyone with cancer or anything awful and terminal like that finally dies. it just seems like more of a blessing than anything else.

Em, I'm sorry to hear you're not well, and the news of your uncle... at a time you're so busy! I look forward to the Dance whenever you can get it to us.. I know you wouldn't ignore us! Thanks for the update...

I'm sorry that you're sick, but I'm glad you had a good time.
You have a busy schedule, it seems, so, don't worry about the next chapter of your story. I know I will be here when you are able to post it.
