When Band camp started this past summer I was nervous about the two new section leaders. (Haha, yes get out all your "This one time at Band Camp" jokes now, but believe me when I say that I've heard them all... numerous times, and none of them are that funny, and realistically, every band kids has "This one time at Band Camp ..." stories and they ( Read more... )

I just went back and reread parts of your some of your PoT fanfics at FFNet, and I still enjoy them. I like your LJ background, too. That scene from the Nationals OVA first opening is cute.

I understand not wanting to share certain things in class. There are many things on my LJ account that I wouldn't be comfortable using in class assignments.

Don't worry about updating. I'm often busy with school and other real life things, making me unable to update, comment, or reply often, so I'm sorry I haven't stopped by for a long time.

I guess I stumbled upon your LJ while you were in Japan.

I read the whole paragraph on your internship problems. I understand wanting to get your parents off your back, and maybe going to another country would help, because it will be harder for them to reach you. Your parents remind me of mine: bugging me about school and work, being "helpful" by causing more stress, and stressing me out even when I'm away from them. I can't live with my family for a long time either because I can't be myself in front of them, and they can always find somethign to complain about me.

Technology is really throwing people out of jobs. That really isn't fair that they wouldn't hire anyone for online magazines. I hope you can find a good internship far away from your parents.

I am picky about my spelling and grammar, too. If I find a typo or any error on my documents or posts, I have to edit them.

I'm glad you had some good professors. Sorry you won't get to have another class with Professor Stabb, got stuck in boring journalism classes, and have stupid, rude, arrogant, narrow-minded, dsicriminative, and disruptive classmates. They should have been kicked out.

I hope you can graduate soon. Sorry the Com Department is giving you a hard time. I feel that schools tend to delay students as much as they could to get their money.

I hope you'll be all right in Entemology. We all have our own fears, and puke is one of the things I fear too though I'm in healthcare. Fortunately, my area of healthcare rarely deals with puke.

Good luck trying out for section leader! Sorry you had a terrible one. What instrument do you play, and what do you mean by "guide to" in band? I'm sensitive and tend to get teary in confrontations, but the tears usually don't fall. Then again, I hold them back. You are right that the section leader is either very sensitive or spoiled. She sounds pretty picky and bossy.

Real people can be OOC, too. We just tend to say something like, "I'm not myself today."

I'm glad you enjoyed the Band Banquet.
