almost time to go
ive decided to leave brisbane when my current temp job finishes in about a week. hopefully i should have enough money to carry on up the coast, do some diving at the whitsunday islands, before arriving at cairns to see my old sydney flatmates jude and jo. this is a good thing, as im sure the queensland coast will be spectacular, but at the moment the thought of leaving brisbane just makes me feel overwhelmingly sad. stu drove me up to mount coo-tha to get one last view over the whole city, and it just felt like leaving home again. there's too many good people here and i can't bare the thought of not seeing them again. perhaps the trick is to never stop for too long, just keep on moving no matter what.
i found out recently that stu's dad used to work in a powerplant in a place called springfield, and is overweight, although apparently not from doughnuts. if you know anyone else that resembles a simpsons character, please let me know.
