My cat Fox has been very sick the last couple of weeks, so we took her to the vet today and she has advanced kidney disease. This was not a huge surprise since she is 18 yrs old but she won't be getting better, only worse...and all we can do is make her as comfortable as possible for now. The vet did not feel it was time to say good bye to her

Oh, she's such a beautiful girl. :-) I'm so, so sorry that she's ill. I have two cats myself and they're more than pets, they're part of the family. So the prospect of losing them is heartbreaking. But always remember you gave her a life full of love and happiness and she loves you in return. {{HUGS}}

They definitely become part of your family that's for sure. She's stubborn as anything right now, she's not ready to go I can tell. Thank you so much your words. *HUGS*

Hey...don't even know you. Just came across your post in a friends 'friends' list and your pretty girl caught my eye. My cat is my best buddy, so I know how devestating this news must be for you. But what a sweet kitty you've had and what a loving life you've given her.

Thank you so much for taking the time to comment. She has been my girl for so long now, the idea of life without her is impossible. But she is so stubborn, she insists on trying to keep going. So for now she's doing okay, a couple of days from now maybe not but I'm cherishing every second we have.
