Midna was not an individual that liked being confused. She liked being able to solve her own problems, or to at least know how to boss someone into helping without seeming like she actually needed the help at all. That much hadn't changed over the years. She didn't like not having the answers about what to do when it came to herself, since she was supposed to be the one that knew herself best.
All of these matters of the heart... It was bad enough when it all started! Now look at what a right mess she was in. What do with lingering feelings for people that weren't there eluded her, what to do with the people that were there was even more perplexing.
So clearly, the answer was to make things worse. Yes. Good. Not actually her intent, but all right.
This was what had driven her outside of Link's dorm, and she smartly rapped her knuckles across the door. Hopefully he was actually around, otherwise she was going to have to hunt him down.
