Who: Giovanni and YOU (Completely open)
What: Digging, finding stuff older than the hills, and later a HAPPENING. Also FREE FOOD.
Where: At a dig. Somewhere.
When: Saturday and Sunday, October 8th and 9th
Warnings: Probable language, and later something going down.

[Digging goes here!]

Giovanni had grabbed a pick axe, and was ready to give instructions as well.

"We'll be digging with shovels, hoes and trowels to remove larger sections of dirt. We'll put the material in a bucket, and use a sifting screen to examine each shovelful of dirt, since small pieces of broken objects may be discovered by sifting. We'll dump the dirt afterwards in a 'spoil pile'. Those of you in the more delicate areas, you'll use penknives and spoons to gently clear away compacted dirt around objects. A small brush will also remove loose particles, so you'll utilize that as well.

When you find something, alert either myself or staff, and we'll photograph them and mark where they are in a grid so we can relate them later.

[Well lookie who decided to situate himself next to Sasha. Marie found a spot near his sister, shovel in hand. Not digging anything. Just watching.]

Riwane looked over from her nearby station in awe, completely oblivious that the Charizard was displeased with the situation, in fact, she just saw it as a demonstration of power! And determination! She was in awe~

"Soo cool~" she said mostly to herself.

That's when Riwane slowly snuck closer, then closer, up until she was laying on her stomach on an nearby stone that was higher up just so she could oogle look at Sasha work. Eyes sparkling in admiration.

Knuckles was used to working with this sort of thing - being a treasure hunter and archaeology buff, this was hardly his first time behind a camel hair brush and some tools that looked better suited to dentistry than digging.

For the moment, he's followed what he beleives to be a column of stone to it's root and he's working with a spoon to free up dirt and small stones. Oftentimes columns like this collected debris at the base that were actually remnants of artifacts.

Actually there were no Diglets around, just a very hard working girl with a cheerily swaying fire tail behind her.

Riwane was used to hard work as she always woke up before the break of dawn and helped the farmer with all the work that had to be done around the farm in between training sessions. So this was just second nature to her!

She shifted to the different areas of course, wanting to help in as much as she could, plus she really wanted to find something awesome that maybe she could keep as a keepsake!

"Hey. Buddy. Could you come over here?" Knuckles called to the industrious looking Char-Girl. He had no idea if she was a 'Mander or a 'Meleon, and at this point, it didn't matter.

"I could use a quick assist, if you wouldn't mind?"

Riwane looked over and smiled, giving him a thumbs up as she finished what she was currently doing and headed that way, skipping from place to place to cut on time.

"What'cha needin'? Ah dun mind at all~" her usual chipper demeanor clearly present.

"If you wouldn't mind putting your natural talents to use right here." Knuckles replied, indicating a hole he'd made. It was very dark, and in an area of the ruins that was receiving no natural light. "My pen light ain't gonna cut it. I could use some illumination if yer tail's up to the task?"

That's right - he wants you to be his flashlight, Riwane. Do you accept this?
