It was embarrassing to admit, but little Marie was developing a little crush on a little spider. He hadn't told his team yet, especially after learning that Sasha and Vinnie were friends with Spinny. He couldn't ask them for advice, considering he had only recently offered his own expert advice to Red, in regards to Misty. Instead, he was attempting to ignore the bitty inkling of a crush.
Marie hadn't heard the boring elevator music over his own. But something had caught his attention. A cutesy sign on the dorm's door, advertising romance advice. Now, clearly this Misty couldn't be the same Misty he was thinking of. So the Squirtle pulled out his headphones and peaked inside.
Dear Arceus, it was Misty. Marie kind of just stood there like a bidoof for a few moments, unsure of what to do...

Misty perked up once she saw the door slowly cracked open. Oh, a customer! Or, well, a possible customer. She was quick to shout to Neris, "Neris! Someone's here!" She was obviously excited to get down to work, and to think a customer got here so soon! That was a good sign.
She rushed over to the door and pulled it open a little more to see who it was. She was extra pleased to see that it was Marie of all people. One of Red's Pokemon AND a Squirtle? Misty had to love him.
"Marie! Hi there! Did you come for any help today?"
"Oh, uh! No, I was just passing by," Marie immediately replied. There was no way Marie was going to tell Misty who he was crushing on. That was definitely too awkward for words. ...But Misty's expression is what kept him from bolting out of the room. She seemed so excited to see him.
"I didn't know you were a love guru," he asked, looking away from Misty.
"Oh! Really? Then I guess you were just curious?" Misty laughed. Darn, and here she thought he was going to be one of their 'customers'. She was so itching to get down to business and everything!
"Well, I've always been into romance and love, so... I thought trying to help people would be a great idea! Not to mention that Neris is really good at this stuff, too!" She looked over to the mermaid in question.
A certain CG-rendered student had been standing outside the door, as though attracted by the music wafting out into the hallways. It was staring intently at the sign, studying it and any passerbys that happened to come by for love advice.
Which were few, ever since Porygon-Z started stalking the gurus.. Because, well... having it trying to eavesdrop on your conversations didn't exactly make for the most comfortable consultation.
But it didn't look like Porygon was going to leave any time soon. In fact, it could probably keep standing there for days on end, without need of food or sleep... let's not consider that possibility. But it was clear (or was it? Very hard to tell) that the virtual Pokemon was processing some interest in romance.
It certainly did take a while for Neris to notice this student standing outside. It does take a while for anyone to know there's someone outside if they didn't knock. But when she did realize, she opened the door. It was a little awkward to find out that there was someone standing out there for such a long time...
Porygon-Z's unnerving gaze turned onto Neris the moment it was addressed. It stared at her for what seemed like the longest time in piercing silence, completely unreadable in expression. Very slowly, the Pokemon's head began to tilt sideways.
"You are... a romance guru. Please define." It spoke with its head at a good 45 degree angle.
"Well, I don't think of myself as a 'guru' but I do love talking about romance and love." Neris replied with a smile. This guy was kind of creepy...
"Misty and I love talking about romance and dating, and we figured it would be a nice idea to help out others who might be having trouble with their romantic life!"

Cyrus was wandering through the halls after training, trying to clear his head to focus on the work that awaited him back at the dorm.
But a brightly-colored sign caught his attention, and he turned to read it.
And stared at it. And stared some more. This was what passed for advice in this world? The only possible romantic advice that could be beneficial would be how to get rid of those impulses!
He stepped inside, glaring at the two of them. Oh creation, one of them was one of the Kanto Gym Leaders. "There can be no purpose in this. Yet you carry on."
yessss I need more people for Misty to hatehaswetpokemonJanuary 9 2011, 23:42:44 UTC
Considering Misty adored romance and anything about it, this hit a sensitive nerve. Considering Misty had a very short fuse, this was quick to get her mad, especially with the glare Cyrus was shooting in hers and Neris' direction.
She was quick to be riled up. She stood up from her seat and gave Cyrus a returning glare to be reckoned with.
and the more people hate him, the stronger his resolve getswill_be_godJanuary 9 2011, 23:46:14 UTC
His expression didn't change or even flicker. "Romance, relationships, love...all meaningless distractions. They are how we convince ourselves that the world is acceptable when it is any such thing. That we find some small niche, we pretend that it is worthwhile. Yet it only takes eyes from those greater issues that impact us all."
The Romance Gurus? Oh man. This sounded hilarious. Due to the fact that Archie had just gotten back from his own vacation and had nothing better to do, he decided to hang around and maybe spy on some of the unwitting morons who decided they needed such advice.
That is, until he actually got a look inside the room. After being blinded by the vast amount of pink, Archie finally noticed that inside the room were two familiar young women - both of whom had an affinity for water. Misty and Neris - a Water-type trainer and a mermaid, both of whom he had met on his first day of "work" which really hadn't been work at all due to the fact that vacation started not long afterwards.
"What brings you two together to give out relationship advice, huh?" He asked, leaning on the doorframe and watching the two with a smirk. "Didn't think this school had that many problems." It was a fighting school, right?
Well, of all people to come for relationship advice or to even be here at all, Misty hadn't expected Archie. Yet here he was, standing right at the doorframe and looking at them both for an answer. Well, she was going to do what she had to: answer his question.
"Of course! Why not? All kinds of people always have relationship trouble, so I thought that if people needed help, they'd need someone to turn to," she stated with a smile. "So here we are! Every place in the world has romance trouble somewhere, right?"
"Oh!" Honestly she still wasn't sure she wanted to be here talking about it, but yet there she was... She let herself in. "Great seeing you two," she said. "So I hear you're giving love advice...?"
"We sure are! We're giving it to anyone for no charge!" Misty happily stated, leaning against her knees with her palms cupped around them. "Do you need any help?"

"I guess that's one way to see..." Neris replied with a small frown, a finger tapping lightly at her cheek. "Even though it a sad thing."
She crept over to Misty with a slightly unsure look on her face, and whispered, "Do you know this person?"

"Hi Daisy, welcome! I'm here, and Neris is here!" She waved, whether or not Daisy was looking at that time.
