Well, this was familiar.

Ulki, an early riser, jumped from his window and swooped down to the statue, his wings pushing the air below him to make for a gentle landing. Without hesitation, he began pulling the ropes from the group, very aware of the message. He didn't imagine this school having a problem similar to the one in Tellius not long ago, but he knew he should have expected it.

This wasn't quite the kind of thing he wanted to see at work. No siree. Goose didn't want to wake up to see this kind of horrid sight.

The pilot rushed up to the statue, only to see that he wasn't the only one working on the issue.

"Holy hell. Do you know what happened?" He asked the winged man, his own hands already at work on the ropes around Pit.

Since Goose was busy untying more ropes, Ulki bent down to scoop up Vianca, whether she was awake or not. "No. However, we both know this pertains to race," he told Goose sharply, paying attention to Vianca.

"Are you... okay?" he asked quietly. He didn't know who this was, nor if they could speak.

This wasn't something Samus expected to see on her morning entrance to the school either. This frankly wasn't something she expected to see at all. It was a clear message, and it made her blood boil.

If she was holding anything, it would have been dropped and she ran over to the small group, helping to free them. She didn't want to jump to conclusions but it was clear she was angry, if how the ropes were being ripped in her bare hands was any indication.

"What happened, who did this?" She asked the other two bird men.

"I ain't got a clue," Goose began, ripping some more of the ropes from Pit and yanking him free from their nasty grip. "But I'm gonna find out."

He gently knelt down to the ground and laid Pit down. His hands immediately flew for his neck to check vital signs. A pulse, a heartbeat, breathing... good, those were good signs.

"Kid...?"

No young boy should have to go through this trauma.

Leon had caught up to Goose's side, cutting up more rope with the knife.

With more people coming to help free them, the next priority should of course be their health and safety. Goose was already on it with Pit, and there was more help arriving. Samus worked on extracting Uxie, and throwing the torn ropes to the ground.

"Something must of shown up on the security tapes."

Samus frowned. "I would say I'd expect better from this fighting school, but I realize the irony in my words."

Miller expressed her sentiments however. "They need aid. Get her to the infirmary, Snake. There's plenty of help here for the others.

Falcon had been a bit behind Samus on the morning arrival to the school, and was about to just head off to his office, but the commotion was a bit difficult to ignore.

Still, he hung back, watching the spectacle with folded arms and a simple. "Hm."

"I wish I could tell you what happened." She replied to Falco's post, which was totally there and not eated by the land of Frank the Goat.

Speaking of Captains... And it was around then that she sensed a familiar someone behind her.

"..." She kind of just stared at Falcon with a bloody mangled fairy Pokemon in her arms.

And Falco couldn't do anything but watch as Pit and the others students were carried away to the infirmary.

It looked like they were going to be fine -physically, at least-, but again, he couldn't be there to help in time. The realization stung more than it should.

"Who would do something like this?"
