It had taken a while, but Lash had finally understood. Kamek's death wasn't natural (well if the white ghost form didn't clue her off) and was the result of a curse. The source seemed to come from something he had taken from another ghost, which only left one suspect; King Boo. However, fixing that was going to require her to find out where he had taken the Boo's crown. How dumb of her! She should have noticed he had been missing it before.
Oh well. She sat in her room, a few computer screens opened as her and Kumatora watched the mecha-koopa Kamek had given her at Christmas make it's way to the currently dead magician's room, a large cake resting on top. It was the distraction they'd need, and then hopefully they could do a search operation using the robot so they could get the crown themselves.
A lot of planning, but hopefully it was going t work. No wait, it was going to work! Lash was the brains behind it after all there was no way it wouldn't!
But just in case, there was a self-destruct button on that mechanical koopa...
"Almost there!" That thing moved so slowly, she'd have to install rockets next time.
