DONATED FLORA hasprettiestmon April 20 2010, 02:48:58 UTC
((If characters have seeds or plants or anything from their homes or the gardening store or wherever the heck, they can get listed here. This is mostly for reference if later on you want to tag, "Rachel was potting one of those strange plants Knuckles had brought" or something of the like. Shhh I thought it was a good idea.))

BLACKY'S DONATION: umbreon_blacky April 20 2010, 02:58:32 UTC
[Assorted fresh berries from a local grocer; most of them are sweet, none of them are spicy. There are enough to even snack on during this gardening work.]

[Erika brought... a whole ton of stuff, mostly from her own collections. She might have raided one of the greenhouses in town as well. There is also a small collection of berries and apricorn seeds.]

Everyday Ganondorf pulls off his shirts and does yard work. reign_of_power April 20 2010, 02:56:59 UTC
Did someone say MANLY MEN AT WORK? 4x4_of_manly April 20 2010, 03:09:00 UTC
Being shirtless in public wasn't normally Lighter's thing. But it was hot out, and he didn't want to be outdone by the other shirtless men around.

Of course, he wasn't going to be anywhere near Ganondorf. The guy was bad enough when Lighter was fully dressed.

So he decided to help with repairing the roof, up out of reach of the general public. It felt good to be doing a community project like this again.

Suddenly, rock snake!

Onix was the perfect height for roof work, especially when lumber and tools had to be transported to said roof. The giant Pokemon was very pleased to be doing his part, and also enjoying some fresh air for once.

So when Lighter least expected it, the rocky behemoth poked his head into the handyman's workspace, spitting out a few two-by-fours he was transporting from the ground onto the temporary scaffolding.

When Lighter was least expecting it would have been any time. He almost jumped when the giant stone monster thing appeared next to him. Wasn't that the same thing that had torn up the landscape a few months back? And now it was helping do repairs... That was kind of funny. For a chimera or a pokeyman or whatever it was, it wasn't that bad. Of course, being what it was, it was probably sentient just like all the other ones at this school, so it would only be polite to thank it or something.

"...Uhhh." Lighter held his hand out tentatively, as though to try to pat Onix's nose. "Good work so far."

Every day Blacky takes off her shirt and is a hobag umbreon_blacky April 20 2010, 03:01:51 UTC
Too bad she is also small and furry while being shirtless. umbreon_blacky April 20 2010, 03:04:58 UTC
That's right! Working with a shovel would be too strenuous for her human self, but in her natural form her paws were just right for burrowing and digging little rows for seeds and berries to be planted in.

Edit: Can a Nidoqueen help? :3 breaks_ground April 20 2010, 04:34:21 UTC
*Nidoqueen walks over after finishing headbutting debris out of the way. She knows how to dig little plots too, and seems to want to help Blacky.* Nido?
("Can I help out?")

Oh. Wow. A real gym leader's Pokemon! Never mind that she'd met quite a number of them before. One that was fully evolved like Nidoqueen was just so much more impressive than, say, Charmeleon.

"Hello!" She flicked her tail from side to side, looking over her work so far proudly. It wasn't much so far, but with a Nidoqueen on her side she'd have plenty of places to plant her favourite berries. And, uh, whatever other plants people wanted to plant. Of course.

"Help would be lovely. You seem like you would have no trouble at all making soft patches of soil, hm?"

Bother Brock every day all the time. bestsweater April 20 2010, 03:11:39 UTC
So what if he had never fixed a greenhouse before? Brock was more than accustomed to cooking cleaning wearing aprons doing odd jobs around the house, so this was really no different.

Brock was out and about around the greenhouse for most of the week, cleaning and building and planting. His team was in on it too, doing a lot of heavy lifting and helping their trainer reach the roof, in Onix's case.

All in all it was very productive! And hot. He may have joined the manly men shirtless club on more than one occasion.

Every so often Brock may or may not have noticed a certain Umbreon lying in a shady area, munching on a berry and ogling.

Brock, rather oblivious as always, responded with a wave.

Bother Mac Everyday: The Anime: The Log Thread boxingmidget April 20 2010, 03:16:20 UTC
Mac felt guilty. He felt guilty when he realized Wendy did what she did because he left to talk with Erika during the Prom...But he can fix this.

What was good about the bout during the weekend was that it was ample time to visit specialty florists in the city. He also had the money. He made sure he bought lots and lots of seeds and bulbs.

On that afternoon, he walked to the greenhouse with a big brown bag filled with bags of seeds.

People can bother him if they would like to have some of the seeds he bought to plant. But now the question is...is Mac a good gardener...hmm...

Well, he started to work anyway, taking off his shirt in the process. Bow is it hot out.

...Yeah, Blacky didn't see anything wrong with appreciating a student's body either.
