What: Two dudes have dude times in a bar.

Earlier Knuckles had called up Mac to go out and hang out. Mac thought of Knuckles as a really close friend and agreed. Plus, this was a good opportunity to get off campus for a while and get out in the city some more. He hadn't seen all of Final Destination City yet which was more of a reason. Yeah, it wasn't as big as New York; but it was a very interesting and cool town anyway.
It had been a while since they actually hung out together. Mac had been focusing on lots of things lately and Valentine's had him still feeling pretty weird. Then again, most people felt the same way. So this gave him a good opportunity to clean his head in more ways that just working out and training.
Mac found the place Knuckles mentioned. It was a bar? Huh, well, Knuckles was old enough to drink. And that's not saying Mac had to drink something alcoholic. Besides, it was hanging with his buddy that mattered. "Knux, hey!" Mac simply said giving a spirited wave when he had spotted him.
