He ran around the school as fast as he could, trying to track down the 'bots as well as round up any of his friends who were willing to help. Or even new people.

"IS THAT A ROBOT?!" She screamed, thrilled. She looked all around for someone to share her excitement with, but couldn't find anybody. Thus, she turned her attention back to spider looking robot. "Wow! How cool! So is this what a robot looks like?"
Pause. THUNK. THUNK. THUNK-THUNK-THUNKTHUNKNTHUNKTHUNK. ((or however the hell that robot's footsteps sound like)) Sweat began to formulate all over Ponyta's body as she began to learn the real meaning of fear.
"Uh, um... S-S-Should that be heading towards me like that right now?!? Uh--UWAHHHH!!!!"
Ponyta ran.

Tails quickly rounded another corner of the building he was in and came out - why would the Spidebot be in a building right now? It would be too obvious if it was.
And then he saw the scene; the Spiderbot was chasing Ponyta.
Hoo boy, was he going to have a lot to explain later. For now, he chased the two, trying to catch up to the Spiderbot. "HEEEEEY!"

OKAY, why is a big spider-like robot chasing meeeeeee? she cried in her head as she galloped in a random direction. From this day forth, big robots equal scary robots!!!
"HEEEEEY!" Ponyta's head snapped in the direction of the call. Thank goodness! Is that Tails?? Maybe he can help me!
Thus, Ponyta went straight towards Tails with Spidebot in tow.

What to do, what to do... he mused to himself as he considered the situation... Ah, they could lead the 'Bot to the Autoshop garage! Assuming it wouldn't decide to go off and chase someone else.
"Follow me, Ponyta! We have to lead it to the garage!" Tails shouted towards her before turning around and beginning to run towards the Autoshop.
He knew fully well that she could catch up to him and outrun the Spiderbot, at the least. That was one less thing to worry about. Now he just had to figure out a way to deactivate it...

And sure enough, the Spiderbot was still coming after Ponyta and himself, CLOMPCLOMPCLOMPing as it did.

WE'RE RUNNING FROM THIS ROBOT ABOUT TO STOMP ON US. Ponyta wished she could say out loud as she ran further into the autoshop. Whatdoido? WHATDOIDO??
She tried neighing in distress, hoping that the others would tell her what to do.

When the Spiderbot finally came in, Tails did what he had to do. He took a wrench, and dashed towards it, leaping into the air and coming down on it hard.
It tore a hole in the spider's hull where its 'head' would be, and, sparking and fizzing, the spiderbot fell over and crashed, shutting down.
Tails looked at the broken-down 'bot and sighed. "Why did it have to come to this..."

Frowning, she didn't completely understand why he might have been sad, but she did understand that she didn't like to see him that way with his shoulders hunched and all. Thus, she leaned her head in and nuzzled his cheek. She neighed softly in thanks and in attempts to comfort him.
Tailssss. Please don't be sad. Was that robot important to you? I'm sorry if it was. But you saved me, so I'm really thankful towards you.
Ponyta continued nuzzling him gently as she waited for him to speak. She remained in Pokemon form as she was too tired out to transform and knew she wouldn't be able to maintain her human form for long even if she had her transformation watch on.
"T... Tay... Illss...." Ponyta tried to speak out with all her might.

And then he heard her speak, but softly.. Tails blinked. "Huh? Did you say something?"

"Ta... Ta. Ta..." Ponyta's brows furrowed together. Almost! She was almost there in getting his name out! Oh, the joy and excitement she felt in her efforts to speak. She wouldn't give up--not until she got his name out, loud and clear. "Ta... ail... su. Ta-ail-su. Tails! Tails! TAILS!"
Ponyta neighed in delight as she hopped around Tails, calling out his name.

"You're learning to speak in Pokémon form! This is great!" Tails watched her gallop around and around, wondering what in the world Wave probably thought of this scene.

"...wh. W..." She tried a couple times to vocalize a question word.
"Wh...."
"...."
And this pony failed. Well, Ponyta tried not to take it too much at heart at not being able to saying anything else other than Tails' name. It wasn't like she'd be able to automatically speak in Pokemon form after getting a single name out clearly, anyway. Thus, Ponyta told herself that she'd take the time later to practice speaking, but now probably wasn't the time to do so.
She stood quietly looking at Tails curiously, hoping he would tell her what to do next.
