It had started with an innocent suggestion. "Let's test our robots together," Ionia had said. And so it was that Clucker and Grounder, both laden with shiny new weapons and extremely shoddy

Tails rounds up people to help stop the Spiderbot

How in the world did this happen. Tails hadn't programmed the Spiderbot to be very complex; it was only meant to carry and push things to help himself and his friends. And now it was running berserk doing who knows what.

He ran around the school as fast as he could, trying to track down the 'bots as well as round up any of his friends who were willing to help. Or even new people.

((OOC: People are of course allowed to create their own reaction threads, this isn't the 'main' one, nor is there any main thread. Have fun!))

Unfortunately for Ponyta, she happened to be strolling around within the vicinity of the now berserk robots and caught one's... er, robotic eyes. However, being as curious and overly excited about everything as she is, Ponyta's eyes widened in nothing less than complete and utter joy.

"IS THAT A ROBOT?!" She screamed, thrilled. She looked all around for someone to share her excitement with, but couldn't find anybody. Thus, she turned her attention back to spider looking robot. "Wow! How cool! So is this what a robot looks like?"

Pause. THUNK. THUNK. THUNK-THUNK-THUNKTHUNKNTHUNKTHUNK. ((or however the hell that robot's footsteps sound like)) Sweat began to formulate all over Ponyta's body as she began to learn the real meaning of fear.

"Uh, um... S-S-Should that be heading towards me like that right now?!? Uh--UWAHHHH!!!!"

Ponyta ran.

Was that a scream? Sounds like one of the robots was causing trouble nearby...

Tails quickly rounded another corner of the building he was in and came out - why would the Spidebot be in a building right now? It would be too obvious if it was.

And then he saw the scene; the Spiderbot was chasing Ponyta.

Hoo boy, was he going to have a lot to explain later. For now, he chased the two, trying to catch up to the Spiderbot. "HEEEEEY!"

In her distress, Ponyta changed back into her Pokemon form in order to run at full speed away from the Spidebot chasing after her.

OKAY, why is a big spider-like robot chasing meeeeeee? she cried in her head as she galloped in a random direction. From this day forth, big robots equal scary robots!!!

"HEEEEEY!" Ponyta's head snapped in the direction of the call. Thank goodness! Is that Tails?? Maybe he can help me!

Thus, Ponyta went straight towards Tails with Spidebot in tow.

Despite the fact Poo was a little psychic, he never expected to get hit in the back of his head with an egg while going to his locker.

And despite the fact that Poo was an elegant and respectable young ruler, Jeff had to choke back laughter when it happened. It was just because it was so unexpected that he didn't know what else to do, really! Okay, and it was a little funny too. But his amusement lasted only a brief moment before he too was egged. IN THE FACE.

"H-hey! Who--?!"

And then there was a sound. A sound that chilled the very blood of all who heard it, for it was the sound of raw, mechanical malice. A mind-rending, horrific bu-caaaawk.

The Death Caw.

Ionia arrived on the scene just in time to call out a warning. "Duck!!" No sooner had she spoken up than Clucker unleashed another furious, eggy assault.

And Jeff's blood was chilled indeed; while he had faced dozens of deadly robots that exploded and whirred and ate bologna sandwiches, never before had he encountered one that left him with egg on his face.

Wait, he recognized this one - wasn't it one of Ionia's robots? The bluenette's voice following that thought only confirmed Jeff's suspicions. He fell to his knees, hands in front of his face for protection.

"Ionia, what's wrong with your robot!?"

What the heck was that?! It looked liked a spider-monster! Thad didn't knew what to do, so he just stand still like deer about to get hit.

This might not end well.

"Come on!" came a voice near Thad. Tails was motioning for him to come over to him. "It can't do anything but walk; if you get away from it, it won't hurt you!"

Doopliss was minding his own business, when all of a sudden Grounder whizzed right past him, drills a-blazin'. "Woah, what was that?" Whatever it was, it looked like it had drills for hands. Having drills for hands sounded pretty cool! So, the Duplighost started to track down the robot in order to get a better close at it.

As it turned out, Doopliss was not the only one after Grounder. The robot rounded a corner, where a certain pikloli just happened to be lying in wait. She made a dive to grab him, but Grounder had sense enough to duck. This sent Ionia tripping over her own robot... and falling straight into Doopliss.

"GAH!"

Doopliss fell hard on the ground. He didn't expect to be tackled like that! Still, getting a closer look at the blue pikloli that shoved him... wasn't she in a few of his classes? To be honest, he didn't really know her all that well. "Hey! What's the big idea, slick?!" the sheeted ghost protested.

"Ionia is sorry, Party Hat Ghost!" She blurted, quite nearly knocking said party hat off in her haste to get back onto her feet.

Grounder, meanwhile, had taken advantage of the fracas to begin rumbling out a hasty retreat. This most definitely did not escape Ionia's notice. She thrust a hand out at Dooplis hastily, urging him on impatiently. "Get up! Can you help me please? I need to catch that robot!"

Robotnik took a look out of his office window. And what he saw, as most things did, filled him with rage. A spider robot? And two... Those were HIS robots! "WHO DARES?!" he shouted with impotent rage. "WHO DARES TO MODIFY MY ROBOTS?!" He rushed back into his office.

A few moments later, the door and part of the wall burst open. Robotnik's Eggmobile, armed with two large drills mounted on either side of it, flew out, and he took off into the halls to follow the robots, and hopefully whoever carried out this insult.

Lighter just so happened to be returning to the woodshed after a good day's work on the ruined walls in the boy's dorms when suddenly something burst through the wall a few dozen yards away.

Damn it. He'd work on it tomorrow.

Having gotten the Spiderbot safely shut down (and probably dismantled), now Tails needed to find Clucker and Grounder if Ionia didn't find them first.

But lo and behold, what should he find first but a very familiar Eggmobile going through the halls. Oh, those robots were once his, weren't they? Fearing a bit for his friend Ionia's safety, he ran to intercept Robotnik.

"Hey, Eggman! What are you looking for?"

"OUT OF MY WAY, MUTANT," Robotnik angrily huffed. "I'M ON MY WAY FOR VENGEANCE!!"
