Olimar made sure to take every step with precaution. There was no saying what creatures could lie out here or if any of the plants were potentially harmful. Knowing it was an island, their main threat would probably just be birds and insects. So far, their adventure remained fairly safe. So far so good. "Do you have a direction in particular, miss Goombella?" he asked. Waiting for a reply, he just smiled and gazed off into the lovely, wild scenery.

"Well," she said, "I wanted to go off that way. I printed out a satellite map, and there's this building here I want to investigate."

"Oh, could I see the map?" he asked with deep curiosity. "Do you think we'll find anything of value or importance?" If they didn't, at least Olimar was content enough with exploring the island and finding items. (Even if they were 'junk')

She offered the map to him. "I'm not sure, but even if we don't, this island's got to have a few secrets mulling about, and that's just as interesting to me."

"I completely agree!" said Olimar, "This island looks simply beautiful. I'm sure there's something to find."

Hoji stepped along in their trek through the island, staying close to the group as she took in the sights. She wasn't too distracted to the point of straying away from anyone, but she certainly was paying quite a bit of attention to everything around her.

That was when she noticed a pretty, colorful bird perched up within the shady brush of one of the trees, singing softly. She bounded at the opportunity to see it and went over to attempt to climb the tree.

"Hey hey, easy now." A familiar parental figure had picked her from where the girl began climbing up and gently set her back down to the ground. Olimar chuckled and ruffled her hair. "I don't want you to get hurt." The colorful, exotic bird continued to sing its song. "Do you want to see that bird better?" He pointed to it, with an idea in mind.

Hojita frowned a little. She'd climbed trees before! Granted, a lot of times, she fell before she scaled very much of it unless it was a tree with nice, sturdy branches, but she had nonetheless.

She did like the idea of seeing it better, though, so she grinned. "How?!"

Luckily, Hojita was still a fairly tiny girl. Even if she wasn't exactly the SMALLEST of her sisters. Hopefully she didn't weight TOO much, so Olimar took the opportunity to hoist her up again. Okay, she was a little heavy, but since he was taller than her anyway it should have helped a little. "Any better?"

Hoji was thankfully pretty thin, so lifting her up shouldn't have been far too difficult. "Sort of! Can I touch it next?!" She was probably asking for a little too much.

"I wouldn't do that," warned Olimar, "It might be startled and either attack or you fly away. Besides, it's... unsanitary." Birds, and especially their feathers, were usually filthy.

"But I've touched animals all the time!!"

That wouldn't work from Hoji's logic, though, for she usually got pretty filthy on a daily basis in her exploration treks. However, she didn't think of that at the time.
