What: A romantic date King Boo is dared to be nice to Luigi for a day.
Where: Some ice cream shop.
When: Backdated to October 24th
Warnings: King Boo and Luigi will make out at some point.

Luigi walked towards the ice cream shop and immediately spotted King Boo. He wasn't that hard to miss, considering he was the only person hovering. Luigi waved to King Boo as he walked towards the table. He hoped this wasn't another cruel prank, and that King Boo was actually planning on being his friend, but it didn't seem likely.

Luigi sat down at the chair across from King Boo. "Um... What flavor of ice cream do you want? I'll only buy one cone of ice cream for you." Luigi decided, that if he tried to act brave, maybe he would reassure himself that the day was going to be fine, without King Boo trying to scare him.

King Boo smiled in what he hoped was a friendly way. "How about I pay, buddeh?"

King Boo floated around the table so he was next to Luigi. "I mean, that's what buddies are for, right?"

Then King Boo remembered his distinct lack of money, or pockets to carry said non-existent money in.

"Of course, if you want to pay, that's cool."

Actually, that smile was kind of scary.

"Don't worry, I'll pay!" He'd gladly get up and pay for the ice cream, as long as he didn't have to be stuck with King Boo floating so close to him. Luigi got out of his seat and walked half of the way to the ice cream shop, when he realized that he forgot to ask King Boo what flavor of ice cream he wanted. He turned around and walked back towards King Boo. "What flavor do you want?"

King Boo floated closer to Luigi again. Closer was friendlier, right? "Anything's fine." There, not being picky was nice, right? Being nice was hard.

King Boo looked at the clock on the wall inside the shop. Not much longer before the day was over and this stupid dare was done.

"Uh... Okay... I'll get you strawberry then." Luigi quickly walked away from King Boo and towards the ice cream shop. After a while, Luigi walked back with two strawberry ice creams. "Here you go," Luigi said as he handed one of them to King Boo. He then sat down at the table, careful to sit down far away from King Boo.

I HATE STRAWBERRY GDIT LUIGI

King Boo accepted the ice cream and fell into an awkward silence.

"So... Do you like.... Kittens?" Kittens. Kittens were friendly.

"K-Kittens?" Why was King Boo trying to start a conversation on kittens? Was this all a trick? If Luigi said he didn't like kittens, would King Boo release a bunch into his dorm room? "Um... Kittens... Um.. Well... Yeah, they're cute... Except for when they scratch... And when they make me sneeze..."

Hmmm.. Maybe he should release a bunch of kittens into his dorm room..

King Boo shifted uncomfortably, if you could call it that. It was more like he drifted to the side a bit. More awkward silence.

King Boo decided to study the table.

Luigi quietly licked his ice cream, too occupied to notice that King Boo was trying to avoid eye contact, too. This... This just didn't seem right, having ice cream with one of your worst enemies.

King Boo, was thinking the exact same thing. He glanced over at Luigi.

Oh, shit, he was losing interest in this. Quick, think of a conversation topic!

"So how's Mario doing?"

King Boo would have kicked himself if he could. Why Mario? Idiot! The last thing King Boo wanted to do was have a conversation about the well-being of Mario with Luigi.
