Samus wasn't entirely too keen on getting random psychic messages out of nowhere but it wasn't accompanied by any sort of feelings of immediate danger, and such was proven by the hard to miss migration of butterflies skittering by the school, so she let it slide for now. The bounty hunter soon enough found herself strolling outside with her hands stuffed in the pockets of her jacket with her head tilted towards the sky in awe. It... really was a beautiful sight.

They vaguely reminded her of some of the gentler creatures that thrived on Zebes as she was growing up... And how eventually they all burned horribly... because Samus can never have nice things bawwww and how the idea of being used as a weapon of mass destruction still infuriates her to no end bawww. Without any particular heading or direction Samus naturally found herself back in the clearing of the forest that bordered the school, the part where liked to hide her gunship ( ... )

And then Falcon jumped out from behind a tree and went "OOGA BOOGA" and picked Samus up and threw her in a leaf pile he made next to her gunship when she wasn't looking. And then all the butterflies flew off the gunship all at once and landed on Samus all at once and Falcon jumped into the pile of leaves and butterflies and blew a raspberry on her tummy and the butterflies flew all over and then he ran away as fast as he could.

It was really gay.

IT TOTALLY DID AND IT WAS REALLY GAY icequeen_aran October 21 2009, 05:06:22 UTC
After the mysterious force that was OOGA BOOGA Falcon picked her up and threw her into a pile of butterfly leaves and blew a raspberry on her tummy which made her squeal in ways that were very unbecoming of her she sat there in the leaf pile astounded.

I must get back at him. She thought. She so commanded an army of butterflies to do her bidding as they flew into the air dramatically. They did nothing, in fact except perhaps serve as an excellent distraction while she hunted him down and when the timming was right she flew out from her hiding spot and tackled him into the next nearest pile of leaves. One she probably did not make. And then Samus rolled around with her captive and then she shoved some leaves down his shirt and ran away as fast as she could.

She thought it was hilarious.

Oh and it was really gay.

Suddenly, a Goroh stood behind her, arms crossed, his face lacking any sort of expression.

Which was kinda hilarious, because there was not only an army of butterflies on the cloaked ship, but also an army of butterflies on his person. They were covering most of his arms, helmet, stomach and even legs, leaving only his face intact.

He didn't say anything. At least yet.

Around when Samus decided she should give up the tiresome charade, or perhaps take the cheap way out and simply move the ship was also when she decided to turn around. The bounty hunter came face-to-face with some horrible, human-shaped butterfly abomination. She furrowed her brow in surprise, the equivalent to a girly scream before she reacted without hesitation to this THING standing unannounced and too close for comfort.

Subconsciously, Samus recognized the face as Goroh's but in that split second it took for her to recognize and process that... her fist was already instinctively sailing through the air for the only exposed part of body. Shoot first and ask questions later, or punch first and ask questions later it seemed in this case, whoops.

THANKFULLY for Goroh's FACE, he also had lighting-quick reflexes as he dodged the incoming doom punch, moving away at the last minute as the butterflies spread in all directions and then two doves flew off in the back in super slow mo.

"WHAT WAS THAT FOR?"

Geeze Samus never seen dudes covered in butterflies before?

Samus was both simultaneously relieved her fist had missed... and pissed off that it had missed. She didn't particularly like nor dislike Goroh but she never appreciated someone sneaking up behind her successfully. Especially if it was done under a cloak of butterflies. "You startled me." She grumbled. Asshole.

The blonde ran a hand through her hair and gave a small sigh of relief, at least appreciative that it wasn't someone who wanted to kill her or something. As far as she knew anyway. "How long had you been standing there anyway?"

He ignored her grumbling and shrugged.

"BARELY A MINUTE," he answered back. "THE BUTTERFLIES HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN." As if they had heard his talk, they all began to cover him just as fast as when they had flown off. "I DON'T KNOW WHY."

He then looked in the direction of the weird butterfly formation. Goroh didn't know about Samus's ship, but he sure as well knew there was something there. "IT'S YOURS ISN'T IT."

Miss Aran made a very amusing face that was anything but amused when the butterflies suddenly flocked back to the samurai just as quickly as they had left, almost as if on cue from his words. How bizarre...

And also almost as if on cue, Samus flinched and looked behind her, as if to confirm her butterfly-covered ship was still there. Yes. It was. And there was no way she could hide something like that right now, especially if Goroh had seen her fruitlessly trying to defend the invisible whatever-it-was from the relentless army of Monarchs.

"Maybe." She said simply.

And still Goroh didn't move an inch much like this icon. He knew a lot of teachers had their secrets, hell he was not dating someone who probably had more than any of them combined.

"Is there any reason why you're hiding it?" It was worth a try. She couldn't ignore that the spaceship didn't exist, at least.

"Despite the fact unusual vehicles and methods of transportation are fairly commonplace at this school it's my personal ship." That had personal data and personal things and Samus found quite useful to have around untouched and in working order.

"That I prefer to be left alone." She unintentionally mimicked Goroh by crossing her arms too.

"You can't tell me you don't hide things here too."

watch as I use this icon over and over. fist_of_win October 29 2009, 06:48:09 UTC
"No I just park them at the airport." He replied, not moving his arms. Maybe some of the butterflies would migrate from himself to her, if he was lucky.

"Unless you mean if I hide other things."

AND SO IT BEGINS icequeen_aran October 29 2009, 15:25:07 UTC
"That is..." A stray butterfly decide to try and land on Samus' nose, to which she politely blew off, a strand of her hair awkwardly shooting upwards in the process for a brief second. It was around now that Samus realized Goroh was no longer speaking [read: yelling in bold red font] as he usually did. Was it some kind of front he liked to put up this whole time...?

"...precisely what I mean."

"What about all the supplies for your classes?" Samus was not sure if she could believe The Hands would fund all that equipment... then again when she thought about it, that was also entirely possible... hn.

"Oh, those?" He might have cracked a smile for all of 1 second, I hope you were watching, Samus, because it was gone again at the thought. "I get them flown in for each class. I have a very efficient team."

And then a tumbleweed passed by fist_of_win October 31 2009, 22:23:08 UTC
"My team," he answered. "Most people would call them bandits, but they are much more than that. A dysfunctional family, for one."
