Apple Kid and Orange Kid - A Tale of Growth Rays
Characters: Apple Kid, Orange Kid, maybe Knuckles, and then maybe EVERYONE EVER.
What: Apple Kid and Orange Kid have made a growth ray together to make Apple Kid bigger
Where: A science lab
When: Sept. 18th, 2009
Warnings: Mysterious odors, odd smudges, Orange Kid Annoyance Level Factor 9
Apple Kid had been four inches tall for the past week, almost. He was starting to get tired of only being 4 inches tall - he only had the one set of clothes that fit him and by this point they were really, really dirty. It was hard to tell because they were so little but let me assure you, they were pretty bad.
But they had spent the past couple of days working together -- Apple Kid and Orange Kid and on occasion Knuckles (who was there to make sure Orange Kid was doing what he was told, like some sort of red, spiky bouncer) -- to make a growth ray, to make Apple Kid his regular height again.
Nothing could possibly go horribly wrong at all.
"Okay," said Apple to Orange, "Now just attach the blue wire to the old digital camera's battery charger and I think we're done!"
