Random island, random victim, random possessions...this was going to be a piece of cake. Lash had hummed nearly the entire way there, which hadn't taken long thanks to her brilliant invention. She was already wearing the costume Adder had made for her, not wanting to take any chances. "Got it! Cloaker and radar scrambler online."

Readings were appearing in a panel on the left of her head. The list of letters and numbers were only understandable to herself, and she grinned. "Got you, you lousy piece of equipment! No one can overcome my genius! That should give us some time to land before the computer system spots us," she told them, pressing a few more buttons. There was a bit of turbulence and the aircraft descended sharply. "Woops," she chuckled softly, and regained control. "The wind is unpredictable. Hold on to your seats, the landing might be rough ( ... )

The sight that awaited the intrepid group of hackers once they touched down on the island was...not much. Some trees, already turning brown with the early fall, rocks, bushes. All-in-all, a rather dingy-looking island. In the distance, across the body of water and through a fair amount of night fog Hawke could see the lights of a city skyline--it looked exceedingly industrial, flashing with landing pads and neon.

The island, however...what had Lash even seen from the air? The fact that they'd even needed a scrambler in the first place said something, but where was this mansion-fortress? Hawke climbed out of the Neotank, aware they were on a deadline and scanned the area for signs of the residence.

There. Emerging from the rocks and shrubbery was a large concrete structure that sloped back into the hill. "Over here." He said, making his way to what he soon found was a large door that looked as though it slid open with the right codes. "Most of it must be underground." And most of it was. From what little he could see, concrete was ( ... )

"Of course it does, any self-respecting villain has some form of security, or else this is going to be incredibly boringLash was already running from the tank carrying a bunch of chips and hacking equipment much like she had used during the space trip a few months ago, her scanner scrambling. "One minute and thirty seconds left!" There was no time to waste. She was using a metallic stick attached to a rod to bang in the ground and find the main entrance. It took her about thirty seconds ( ... )

Fun his ass. But Raiden was glad to finally be on a real mission. He wasn't entirely certain raiding Ganondorf's dorm qualified weird undergarments aside but Raiden could have easily done WITHOUT the goofy white ninja outfit he was currently donned in. It made him feel less like a legendary mercenary and more like... some comic book action hero cyborg ninja.

Okay so it wasn't so bad and he'd get to use his sword again but it didn't help that he had to tug down the face cloth anytime he wanted to speak and actually be understood beyond mmnf mrmnf mnmnr. He also couldn't help shake the uncanny feeling that he had been here once before on this dingy little VILLAINOUS island. Maybe if he had been paying more attention on the way over here... Raiden put it out of his mind for the moment as the ship landed and Lash successfully hacked her way in.

"Who's going in first?"

Much like that time in the cavern with Beatrice, Lash might have been slowly turning to look at Raiden, giving him a wide grin.
