Daroach happened to be standing under a tree near the parking lot, smoking his 3rd cigarette. Everything's just getting too stressfull for him lately ( ... )

Goose was just about to head for his 'copter when his glancing about allowed him to catch sight of someone. Some guy standing under a... tree? Boy, he did seem pretty tiny, too.

He took a few steps closer curiously, wondering who this person was, but he then realized it was Daraoch under the shade of that tree. Huh, what in the world was he-... oh, he was smoking a cigarette. No wonder.

He probably must have been sighted by now, so he decided it wouldn't hurt to walk up and utter a, "Hey."

Daroach watched Goose approach him, letting out a greeting as any other would. He simply blew some smoke from his mouth and greeted back, in his own way, of course.

"What do you want?"

"Hey, hey, ain't a crime to say hi to someone," Goose casually shrugged but kept a chipper smile on his visage, as usual. Oh Daroach, even you couldn't ruin his pleasant mood. Then again, it wasn't THAT easy to get him riled up or angry.

"Was just about t' go for a flight, actually, but I ain't in a rush."

"'Course not," Goose muttered simply. He then snickered. "Life'd probably be too easy that way anyway. I like a challenge," He added, pretty much asserting his need for an exciting life. If things were just easy enough that all you needed to do is be lazy? Honestly, he'd hate that kind of life.

Sure, he didn't like when life was TOO hard and began to bite him hard in the ass, but he knew very well you can't have the good without the bad. You just have to bear it! Being pretty laidback about problems usually makes this a piece of cake for him, just usually. He wasn't one to let things get to him and his mood easily.

"So ya' wanted to wish for something?" He asked, purely out of curiosity, as well as being a little nosy.

"Heh..." Was all Daroach could say at the moment before taking a few swigs of his beer. He then sighed right after, using his free hand to tap on the table's surface before answering Goose's question.

"Honestly..." He paused. It isn't easy to speak of things concerning him. It's his life that Goose's curious about right now, and for the most part, it's off limits. Usually, he'll put up an unbreakable wall and not speak of it... but... he's a bit too worn out to care at the moment.

"...I wish for her back, to tell me that everything's gonna be alright." He took another swig; gotta drown those feelings away. "...That she will always be there and will never leave me no matter what..."

Daroach blew some air out of his mouth as his tapping become more frequent. This is a touchy and personal subject for him. Hopefully Goose will understand and take this seriously. Obviously, the mouse is putting his trust in the pilot. Hopefully he will not betray it.

Don't worry, Daroach, even a guy as goofy as Goose knew when it was time to be serious. In fact, he was actually a bit taken aback that Daroach had that kind of thing in mind for a wish. That was actually kind of... wow. Perhaps this mouse really did have a softer interior, he just held up a hard shell that was tough to break into.

Finally, Goose gave him his own reply.

"Huh," was all he could utter. He took one sip of his beer before continuing. "So ya' lost someone?" He never really showed concern or softness for anyone, but as a friend, he did have to say he felt kinda bad for him.

"That kinda thing sucks," He stated simply before swigging down more of his drink.

Daroach didn't say anything for the moment, just drank the rest of the bottle in its entirely before placing it on the table. The tapping still continued, but his eyes had soften, his expression a bit more somber as thoughts of his visit to her grave came into mind.

"...I miss her... so fucking much..." he finally replied, but stopped when he covered his head with his hand.

They say that a great weight will be lifted off one's shoulders when confiding in another. If that's the case, then why is his heart hurting?
