Fun Between Friends? An Egg of a Problem!

After last Saturday, Sonic had decided to keep things cool and told his small group of friends they'd be going Monday. You know, not to over-saturate himself too much with the rides, even if they were free. The chilidog stand however? Yeah he might have gone back for those.
It was going to be...interesting to say the least. Wave and Amy at the carnival together was probably going to cause some problems, but honestly he would have felt terrible if not all of his friends came. They'd been in so many adventures together. Despite everything, Amy was still a very good friend, and there was some small guilt in his heart at the fact he didn't quite love her back the way she loved him. He just hoped that one day she'd understand and find herself a more suitable prince. One that wasn't blue.
And yet there was a certain, je-ne-sais-quoi about tonight that gave him chills and it wasn't because of that. He didn't know why.
As with usual tradition, he'd arrived at the park first despite the fact he was currently in his wereform, standing near the gate, the millions of lights shining brightly in the background.
