"Weapons...? Onstage...? You mean, we're going to actually fight someone...?"

Ribbon gulped. Yes, she was here to learn fighting tecniques, but mainly out of self-defense purposes to be used as a last result. She doesn't want to end up fighting anyone if it can be prevented, especially against anyone in this school who have natural abilities, mastery in weapons, and who knows what else. She surely doesn't want to risk getting the snot beaten out of her, even if it's for pratice.

"....Um..... I don't want ot fight anyone..."

"How about me?" Knuckles asked. "I know your current level of skill so you won't get hurt. Promise!" he said.

Ribbon picked the nearest sandbag and began to put Knuckles' lessions in punching to good use.

With a loud yell, Ribbon bega to punch the sandbag with a steady rhythm, knocking the poor thing to the ground whenever it gets back up. Random kicks were thrown in to add in some variety as she practice her basic attacks. Eventually, she'll master it and will advance to the more complicated moves.

Knuckles waited for an opponent. Punching a sandbag was OK... but he preffered to test his skills against other people over inanimate objects.

Pit's wings arched in a gusty flap as he leapt backwards to allot the two of them more space between them, holding his bow in front of him. Once the gap had expanded, he tore the weapon in half, exposing it as not just a fancy archer's instrument, but a pair of sickle-shaped blades. He spun them around like a crazy blender wheel and gave Mario the look of a fighter.

"Ready when you are, Mario! I'll let you aim the first blow!"
