At first glance, the area near the lake didn't seem like much. However, the number of Aparoids hanging out was unusually high for a supposedly bare area.
Hanging from a tree was the remains of one of the care packages Peach had left behind. Someone had been through here. The conversation Goombario had accidentally broadcasted may have come to mind.
If anyone pressed further, getting closer to the lake, they would have seen a small house.
